See, this is why it's nice to have a good support group to talk to about problems with our Hot Spots.

I hadn't even thought to use those side pegs.Agamemnon wrote:As far as the water cannons, indeed, if I attach them using the gun handle, they droop something horrible. I use the peg on the sides of the water cannons and they work much, much better.

I'll be here. If you need to talk about it.Agamemnon wrote:I'm not sure about the base of the turret. I'll check that out when I get back from work.

Animation in that commercial IS really nice. Wish my toy had that sleek metalic shine like the ani models.
Anybody else getting a Garry Chalk vibe off that VO actor?

Amazing! Also, two things: 1.-Is that a new head on Optimus? And 2.-Is the narrator Garry Chalk?!?!

I think this is the first time any animation has been made exclusively for the Generations line.
Then again, I think this might even be the first Generations commercial ever.

RTS had commercials. That's pretty much a Generations line.

And here's the thing about commercials. If they're any good-like this one-they build interest! Even if it doesn't show in the U.S.,here's hoping this airs (A LOT!)internationally, during kids TV shows.

That was a different toyline. I'm not talking all things CHUG, just specifically the Generations line.It Is Him wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I think this is the first time any animation has been made exclusively for the Generations line.

Plus, Reveal The Shield was nothing more than the later part of the "movie-centric-yet-continuity-ambiguous" 2010 line.

Yeah, that and the many AOE stuff on shelves. Oh, and hero mashers too. Seriously though, when it comes to Generations, I only see Thrilling 30s Wave 8 and 9 deluxes (no wave 1 deluxes or legends wave 6-8 sadly) at Walmart and Target, and Combiner Wars Silverbolts at Meijer.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I really liked that "bruiser" build for Arcee.

You're not in my opinion. Andrew did some great things with that FOC design in RiD.
I do appreciate Alpha Bravo in the back very much.

This is just a response to people who say that Combiner Wars is dumb because they are making non-combiner characters into combiners.
Like Optibotimus says, he loves G1, but he is not a G-whiner. I am the same way, and I think we all should be the same way. Sure it is great to get a figure that is very close to G1, (like Generations Arcee for example), it sparks our nostalgia! But if transformers keeps with the same formula, where is the creativity? Kids aren't interested in the same characters and formulas over and over, and neither am I. Hasbro, IDW, Takara, all of them want change, and so do I. We need something fresh, sure we have the classic old characters like Optimus, Bumblebee, and Megatron, but what is wrong with some new versions of characters? I don't mind a combining Ironhide, Cyclonus or Prowl, it makes it interesting!
So that's my two cents, bring it on haters!
