Thanks to Fusible.com for the heads up on this interesting news about potential titles for next summer's Transformers 4 blockbuster.

Yah that was an awesome opportunity last weekend. Just me, Optimus Prime and Hound alone for about 10 minutes. I had tons of time to photograph them plenty and even take some video of them before a security guy shooed me off.

It appears we have a title for the upcoming 4th Transformers live action film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. According to recently filed United States Patent and Trademark Office documents Hasbro has applied for Transformers: Age of Extinction under:

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of motion pictures, television shows and game shows


Additionally, MarkMonitor, the brand protection agency that registered Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has applied for the domain name transformersageofextincion.com



Hasbro has also applied for a trio of new trademarks for Interactive Entertainment/Video Games:

Interactive entertainment software, namely, computer game software, computer game programs, computer game cartridges, computer game discs; interactive multimedia computer game programs; downloadable game software for use in connection with computers, communication devices and mobile telephones; pre-recorded laser and video disc featuring an animated cartoon series

If that is going to be the title, it makes sense that the Dinobots are in the movie, seeing as how dinosaurs are extinct.

I just hope that all five of them are in the movie, rather than just Grimlock and maybe Slag.

I just hope 2 things:

1: would be to finally get the rest of the dinobots and I hope that they look similar to FOC Grimlock.

2: no more weird TF figures like the ones we got for the past 3 movies, not a very big fan of those figures/movies :roll:

Age of Extinction? I can live with that. Better than Dark of the Moon, that's for damn sure. DOTM is right up there with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Attack of the Clones on the list of sh!tty sequel titles.
