The one Transformers One Prime Changer we had yet to post a review of was Alpha Trion. We have one now which you can see below. The toy has been released in the US at some stores while it is available to order on Amazon.ca for $29.99 CAD.

The review below shows that he is comparable in size to modern day deluxes, as well as deluxes from the beast era, 30 years ago, and shares a lot in common with that era. Enjoy!

It's been a little while, but here's a brand new Seibertron.com gallery for all of you to enjoy.

This new gallery showcases the Transformers Studio Series 112 Deluxe Class Optimus Prime toy. The Transformers Studio Series 112 Deluxe Class Optimus Prime stands out as a must-have for Transformers collectors. The figure is approximately 6 inches tall and boasts remarkable attention to detail, reflective of the character's appearance in the upcoming Transformers One movie. He converts from robot to truck mode, showcasing the versatility and playability that Transformers collectors have come to expect from the Studio Series toy line.

The gallery is available on Seibertron.com, providing fans and collectors an in-depth look at this latest addition to the Transformers Studio Series line. The gallery of over 170 images showcases this toy's features, superb articulation, and accessories. Thanks to some butterfly shoulder joints, this Optimus Prime can actually hold the Matrix of Leadership accessory and can even pull of the popular "hero pose" due to its top notch poseability. The comparison pictures did something a little different since this is the only Transformers One figure currently in the Seibertron.com collection. This time around, the comparison pictures feature many other "deluxe class" Optimus Prime figures from over the years (with a couple of exceptions).

This new gallery marks a special moment as it's been a while since Seibertron.com posted one of our massive galleries. The release of this extensive gallery aims to offer Transformers enthusiasts a comprehensive visual guide to the Studio Series 112 Deluxe Class Optimus Prime. Fans can appreciate the meticulous design and articulation of the toy through these detailed images.

You can view the complete gallery by visiting here. Seibertron.com currently has this figure available to purchase at our ebay store at shop.seibertron.com.

Good lookin' toy and, as ever, a hell of a gallery.

What do you think of the toy from a personal standpoint?

Usually, that's the last mode I have the figure in before I review it. I think it's also to go in reverse of the instructions. They're not great but from what people have told me they need help getting back to robot mode.

Transformers One is upon us and even if the film may not interest all fans, seeing fully stocked shelves will make any grinch's heart grow three sizes. While the toys are coming in rather slowly in the US, Mexican fans are getting the more traditional approach where Walmart is stocking the line all at once, turning the toyline into film promotion, as is intended. Below are images showing the toyline out in full force.

The toys are coming to the states as well but the shelves don't look as inviting or inspiring, you can check the contrast with a US target below.

And for those wanting to know more about these toys, we have some reviews below for the Mega Changers (same as Titan Changers), Robot Battlers, Cog Changers (one steps) and the Ultimate Energon Optimus Prime, courtesy of Chuckdawg1999.

Haven't seen anything at Walmart yet, only seen the Studio Series Prime/Orion at Target.

Have we talked about this yet? I'm honestly having trouble keeping track with SDCC being so crazy this weekend (we're getting a Marvel Legends Rom! MOTU vs Thundercats!). Apparently this is the Transformers One equivalent to that big Optimus Primal that Takara Tomy made for ROTB and Hasbro imported at a pretty decent price. I believe this comes from the Transformers Expo or whatever it's called in HK right now.

Transformers Expo is the event that's going to be happening in Tokyo, Japan. The event going on in Hong Kong currently is the one whose name is bunch of initials or something.

That is a cool looking big Prime, and I would love to get it.

In other TF One toys news, I got a couple of them, and I saw the Prime face mask at Target. Didn't get it though.

The RiD2015 Megatron retool is a nice little toy, I find the mold fun even if it isn't that good. I like it, glad I got it.

I also got the prime changers Sentinel and Alpha Trion. Both of them are pretty nice toys, and both are a lot of fun. I especially am taken with Sentinel, he is a super fun toy. And I truly love a unicorn lion Alpha Trion, the TR toy is one of my all time favorites, and I am glad to have another

I was able to pick up Prime Changers Sentinel Prime and Bumblebee at a local Target (Missouri) today. They had OP and Alpha Trion on the pegs but i passed on them. Not pictured, I also spotted Cog Changer Airachnid, again another pass.
I do like that BB looks pretty good next to Studio Series OP.

I found the Prime Changers for the first time at Target this morning (my local Walmart still hasn't gotten a single figure from the movie). I was really surprised by how small Prime/Pax is. Is it me or did they intend for these figures to scale with Studio Series Prime? Like the Bee and A3 seem to match well with him. The PC Pax is kinda tiny, does he really blend well with the rest of the PCs? I think something neat can be done by mixing and matching figures between PC and SS.

My Alpha Trion and Sentinel went to the SS shelf, so I think that is somewhat the intent

@Emerje, i agree, Bee does scale good with the SS OP. I don't have A3 but like PC Prime/Pax, to me Sentinel Prime doesn’t scale well either. There is that opportunity to mix and match these between PC and SS.
I havent messed with SP that much, but Bee does have a lot of posability for being a PC.

The Transformers One toyline has hit Canada with Walmart getting a huge chunk of the line all at once. That includes the:

Transformers One energon glow Bumblebee
Transformers One Ultimate Energon Optimus Prime
Transformers One Cog Changers
Transformers One Power Flip Optimus Prime
Transformers One 2 in 1 Masks
Transformers One Robot Battlers 2 pack (Optimus vs Megatron)
And the second wave of Transformers One Robot Battlers, Alpha Trion and Starscream

We have a review of those for you below along with some of the other toys mentioned/found.

So I found the deluxe-ish Optimus this week, leaving only Bumblebee for me to find.

I adore this figure. The SS figure is technically a better figure, but damn if this thing isn't much more fun. I love messing with this guy. And my now one-year-old daughter loves him too. We spent time playing with him with her little peoples house even

Also, Sentinel and Alpha Trion went nicely into the SS shelf. Now how to figure out how to get the SS Optimus in here

Sentinel Prime is an amazing toy, really surprised by it. I like it more than any 2024 deluxe figure released in more « collector friendly » lines, and it happens to be cheaper too.

I liked it so much I reviewed it just for fun.

My thoughts on what I got so far:

20240815_172941.jpg

D. Sentinel Prime:
An EXCELLENT figure. I love the throwback to DOTM with his shield. The bot mode is solid and the jet mode is flawless, even from underneath. It was not that easy to figure out his transformation because everything was so TIGHT, but otherwise, it may be the best deluxe in the mainline so far.

D. Alpha Trion:
Look great in both modes, but the transformation is way too simplistic and unsatisfying. Still, a nice nod to Titan Returns Alpha Trion. Also, I find hilarious that the beast mode is horny, and the bot mode is wielding a sword and a dildo as his weapons.

D. Optimus Prime / Orion Pax:
Much better looking than the SS deluxe in both modes, but he's so tiny. He's barely a scout. Why so smol? Plus his transformation is a bit annoying with his arms popping off due to the overtight transformation joints. Plus in bot mode, his wrists would have benefitted from a pin joint because removing the axe from his fist take the whole hand off. This may cause a break if the axe is used too often. This Optimus is the worst deluxe of the 4, but it's not bad enough to be returned to the store.

D. Bumblebee:
Look good in both modes, except for the overlarge feet that leave a big gap in both mode and a huge tail in vehicle mode. His transformation was not too easy to figure out because the arms had to be transformed in a specific order. Appart the small flaws, this Bee is very, very good. The second best deluxe of the four.

1step Airachnid:
Amazing beast/drone mode, but the bot is a bit sad. She have NO LEGS, her dorso resting on a stool. That is my impression. The transformation is simple, obviously, but satisfying.

The overall quality of all these figures are very solid. good paint, tights joints, great look, and they feel premium in hand, compared to the Cyberverse/Earthspark deluxes. My wallet is crying over these purchases, but my heart don't regret it one bit.
;)^

In the case of my Walmarts, they're evidently waiting for all the unsold stock of ROTB mainline toys still sitting on the pegs and shelves to first be all bought up, when nobody wants any of it.

While the Transformers One line has been trickling in at Target, Walmarts in the US have been slower. Their exclusives have been found though, including the Quintesson toy and this Optimus desk toy which does not transform but goes from Orion Pax to Optimus Prime by changing its head and chest. The toy has been found in the US and Canada for weeks now but if you've been avoiding it and are still curious about what exactly it is, Chuck made a review of the toy which we posted below.
