While his first comic series Reign of Starscream had its Trade Paperback full to the brim with extras, including sketches, cover gallery's and interviews, the upcoming Trade Paperback versions of both the Alliance and Defiance prequel comics will not be so forthcoming with the extras.
Due to cost reasons, or perhaps something else entirely, they're not as packed with materials that The Reign of Starscream trade paperback was. Not even close.
Mowry also reveals that there were not many sketches for the comics created by the artists, so that area may be a little skint too.
To end off the blog update on a more positive note, Mowry has also revealed that he has turned in the draft for his next project, though he has kept secret what it may be, as well as finishing off his first Mosaic project, with Transformers Artist Andrew Griffith on Art duties.

actually i have a lot of sketches, i'm just holding on to them for now for something else. i might put them up on my deviantart page, but i haven't decided yet. when i was asked if i had any sketches for the trade i had misplaced my sketchbook. but i found if after cleaning my work area a few days ago.

Good to hear, the Reign of Starscream trade was one of the best put out by IDW, purely because of the bonus material.
Hoping you throw a few sketches up on the deviantart page!
