Another ROTF movie illustrator - Steve Jung has uploaded more ROTF movie concept drawings on his personal website. This time we are treated with some Constructicons and motorcycle bots concept designs. Although most of it did not make it to the final movie stage, it is interesting to see that Hightower designs has been adopted by Tomy Takara for the EZ Collection Hightower.

That vrex bike looks awesome. That is an actual bike right? I need to get me one of those. The two bikebot concepts look a hell of alot better than what we got stuck with. The constructicons not so much.

I BLOODY said that there is likely an official design for the Constructicon we saw with the EZ Devastator. Everyone said it was a stupid design and based on nothing, but I was RIGHT! HA HA HA!

The plural of "art" is "art."

I think I've seen this more than once today.

The V-REX bike looks pretty cool! If TF3 uses more cyclebots, I hope something like the Dodge Tomahawk is considered. The four wheel configuration could be interesting for a cyclebot design.

I'm glad most of these designs weren't used - Hightower looks knock-kneed and the tripod looks like he'd try and walk in three directions at once!

So at least in concept stage, Devastator does have at least one wrecking ball. And for some reason I laughed when I saw Ravage, that picture makes him look tubby, kinda like a mechanical Garfield.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,
The Garfield thing was a showstopper. Ahhhh.....

So this guy I can blame for a majority of the designs I didn't like. From Ravage to the biker chicks from mars to more wheel feet bots. DAMN TWINS!!!!

Ugh.........

His environments are good though. So....yeah.
I don't know, from looking at the art alot of his work seems like it belongs to the ROTF game then the film. Especially these guys:
