Amazon has put a page up for an Allspark Cube Version of Rubics Cube, which sould be available sometime in 2008. There are no pictures available, but we can imagine what it will look like. Guess tha means we'll have to brush up on our Cybertronian alphabet to figure out if we solved it or not.

Guess I don't have to make one out of a Rubiks cube then. I think the 4x4/5x5 is better than the 3x3 though

rubiks cubes i can handle i can work it out because its simple enough that all the same colour has to be on one side - hard to do sometimes but simple in premise.
If this looks anything like the alspark in the film ill have a hard enough time working out what symbols and gylphs acutally make up a side let allone solving the cube :shock:

My guess is it's going to be like any of the other Allspark candy dispensers & party favors where a couple of sides will probably have allspark-like designs, & the other sides are going to have various pictures of the TFs in the movie.

Depending upon how the final product looks, this could be a really cool item to place alongside my TF figures! At present I've got a Lament Configuration standing in for the Allspark, but this could do nicely. :grin:

This'll be sweet. I love Rubik's cubes. I've not played with anything other than the normal 3x3 but I can generally solve that in 2-4 minutes.

I was just thinking this would be a sweet idea saturday.

Exactly. There are two layers of difficulty now that Rubik's don't have. Firstly you need to know exactly what the glyphs look like, and secondly you can't go on instinct because it's not just the one flat colour on each side anymore. I don't think I could use even the simplest sequences on it without being messed up by the design.

Ah well... I think I'll just let better Rubik's players than myself review it next year first. Still would be nice just to keep on the shelf
