Takara Transformers Legends Minerva, Cab and God Ginrai Gift Set Available for Preorder Online

Agreed. I already have Super Ginrai, but I was able to cancel my order for God Bomber, so after preordering this set I will have two Super Ginrais. Now Hasbro is putting out a set that includes Super Ginrai & some other figures I might want.

This announcement may lead to an eventual increase of collectors selling plenty of used Ginrais. The best news to come out of all of this is that if you want any of his figures, you have no excuse for being unable to get one, except for the cost.

The Siege of Cybertron set with Metalhawk, or the God Ginrai set with Cab and Minerva... I guess I could hope for a separate release of Hosehead and Minerva, but until then

It just became available from TFSource. I did the BBTS order myself already thinking the about the changing, although I'm thinking about BBTS and not charging until ships and TFS and charging at order. I want the Source points, but I don't want the bill right now.

If you didnt get Super Ginrai already, you can look at it like this. If you get both you can display Super Ginrai and God Ginrai together, as well as CW Optimus to be standard Ginrai and the Ginrai titanmaster (placing the God Bomber Titanmaster under the Super Ginrai helmet) to get that evolution effect

I will wind up with 2 Ginrais, so I might display one as God Ginrai with Cab, Minerva, & Shuta in the chest compartment & display the other as Super Ginrai & modify him with some of the Perfect Effect add on kits.

So here's God Bomber and of course God Ginrai. Might help you decide if you want to get the set.

I'm mainly interested in Ginrai and don't need 2. It's tempting to stick with the Takara set, but doesn't really seem worth it, especially compared to the Hasbro set. Decisions!

I doubt anything could be used for Cab given he's a fire engine. Your best bet really would be a major custom of Kup.

I feel Breakaway with some repros could be used for Minerva, just like Shuta.

Aah; I figured you'd wanna keep em all the same size. I suppose Optimus could work, but has there ever been a long-nosed Fire Engine cab?

I'm actually working on a custom Minerva right now, Using a spare Grax (Skullsmasher's Titanmaster) combined with Ptero. Still need to paint it but so far so good
