I really doubt they'll do Windblade. She already got a figure back in 2015 and Takara really doesn't double dip secondary characters.

I did pre-order Misfire however, he looks great! Contemplating pre-ordering Broadside since I don't have the TR version. Might just pick him up when I'm back in Japan in the winter.

Putting aside Titan Masters, recolours and obvious-pretools-not-meant-for-the-character like Sentinel and Sky Shadow; that just leaves Twin Twist, Windblade, Octone and Blitzwing - at least, of the TR stuff revealed so far.

They'll do Black Shadow. Retool or not he's unique enough and he's one of Japan's babies.

You can never be sure with Takara. Liokaiser was a G1 original of theirs & it looks like they passed on doing a version of him.

Regardless, they're not talking about Lio Convoy - they're talking about Liokaiser, the Decepticon combiner from Victory which Hasbro made a Platinum boxset out of but Takara didn't bother with.

Derp... too many lio characters. Even so it doesn't mean Takara won't make black shadow. Takara just didn't do liokaizer because they wanted their Combiners to be as faithful as that could and just didn't want to make Jaguar and leozack. They didn't do it. Just like we didn't get Grand Galvatron or ruination.

Ah, but wouldn't they want Sky Shadow to be as faithful as could be? That's why it's a little up in the air; same with Megatron.

They'd more likely want a Nijika Headmaster on Windblade's toy since Windblade in Japan is depicted as Nijika's little sister, which would enable Takara to use the TR Windblade mold as Nijika herself.

I received Godbomber today and I was somehow gladly surprised. I don't think he's much of a figure by himself (I find his robot mode boring) but as trailer addition to Super Ginrai, I quite like him. I was mostly surprised at how I was able to make the assembled God Ginrai stand on his own fairly easily. I saw a bunch of reviews where it was always falling on his back once in his combine mode. Once I played a little with the red parts that were his eels as Ginrai and lifted them a bit, he stopped falling. It seem that you can position them in a way to block his joint somehow. I won't lie, he can't take fancy poses but he can stand on his own without support or making him look like he just climbed down a horse with his legs position weirdly. I took the cue to position them like that from a japanese video review (around time index 11:35 on the video)

Anyway, my God Ginrai now stand very well on it's own.

Looks like the God Ginrai gift set just went up for preorder on bbts. The price isn't too bad if you weren't able to pick up Super Ginrai when he first came out, but if you have him already, it does seem pricey to essentially get the 2 exclusive Headmasters.

Many fans were asking about this and we are glad to finally have an answer. The Transformers Legends LG-EX God Ginrai Exclusive box set, including the new Headmasters Minerva and Cab, is available for preorder at BBTS for $164.99. This is lower than anticipated, especially considering that it is lower than buying both Super Ginrai and Godbomber individually from them.

To answer some questions found on the boards:
It being a Takaratomymall exclusive only means it is exclusive to that retailer in Japan. Meaning that while other Japanese sellers will not be selling it, it will be distributed (through Hasbro Asia) to domestic importers, like BBTS in this case here.

The images in the listing are far from final but it is said to be a more toy accurate deco with the trailer being silver.
The item is already sold out in Japan with the takaratomymall listing taken down, which was where this added info could be found.

So, how many of you will be double dipping? How many will be dipping for your first time? And how many of you are waiting to find out if Godbomber will be released in an eventual Titans Return Hasbro Box Set? Let us know!

Agreed. I already have Super Ginrai, but I was able to cancel my order for God Bomber, so after preordering this set I will have two Super Ginrais. Now Hasbro is putting out a set that includes Super Ginrai & some other figures I might want.

This announcement may lead to an eventual increase of collectors selling plenty of used Ginrais. The best news to come out of all of this is that if you want any of his figures, you have no excuse for being unable to get one, except for the cost.

Isn't it just a few dollars less than buying them separately from BBTS? If you ordered from Japan, you're probably better off. In any case, it'll be about 170 with shipping for a leader, whatever GB is, and 2 TMs. I also consider it a safety preorder and I'll likely cancel. Hoping Hasbro does another $100 box set, but with GB. That'll be $200 for Super God Ginrai and a whole bunch of other figures, a much better deal.

If you didnt get Super Ginrai already, you can look at it like this. If you get both you can display Super Ginrai and God Ginrai together, as well as CW Optimus to be standard Ginrai and the Ginrai titanmaster (placing the God Bomber Titanmaster under the Super Ginrai helmet) to get that evolution effect

Yeah, I folded and preordered this set...I already have God Ginrai (And it stand firmy on it's own on my shelf ) but worst case, I might cancel if I see anything about a seperate release for Cab and Minerva. As for Ginrai, since I don't usually keep spares in my collection, I may just keep one vehicle in mode on display and another in robot mode...or I will give my spare to somebody I know who collect Transformers but more casually then I do.
