The opening episode "Transwarped" of the third Season of Transformers Animated threw up quite an issue for fans of the fastest Blue Autobot Spy Blurr.

While his ultimate fate was left in limbo, there is some news regarding Blurr's fate from Derrick Wyatt, Lead Character Designer for the Transformers: Animated series.

Posted on Wyatt's Blog A Delightful Tedium is an image that reveals that there is more than meets the eye in Blurr's final appearance in "Transwarped".

The image at the bottom of the post can be considered a spoiler, as it could very well contain spoilers for future Transformers Animated plot points.

Well, he did get crushed in Transwarped, Part II. At least this confirms that he's been squished.

I had a feeling that he'd return. His part was so short lived. And Hasbro wants to sell more figures so he has to come back.

Hahaha! Man, that was quick! Awesome though...

Anyway, nobody REALLY though Blurr was jsut going to be killed off did they? It's freakin Transformers Animated for crying out loud...They've been REALLY careful not to kill ANYONE in that show...They wouldn't just off him unceremoniously like that with no further word...

I guessed domething like this would happen, I can imagine him doing a Waspy and crawling all the way to Ultra Magnus, and actually having to talk slowly for once since hes tired and broken! aybe being reformatted,(Hope not) definitely repaired.

to be truthful this is one of the only blurrs i like, apart from armada blurr. this time he wasnt an annoying fart, and when i start liking him he get crushed.

but id like to know how theyre gonna revive him, his freaking mouth is in the centre of the cube, being shut up for that long would kill me.

mabye ratchet comes into his class and dose open spark surgery :-?

maybe they do origarmy

I was horrified to see that cube in Transwarped. I love Animated AND G1 Blurr. I never found him annoying and was glad to see them bring back the G1 voice actor.

G1 Bumblebee was annoying not Blurr. But then I liked Wheelie in the American cartoons. Everyone forgets his Tech Specs had an Intelligence of 8 so he's actually one of the smarter TF's. Plus love his scene in the comics when he pounds the Matrix enhanced Thunderwing.

Anyway on topic, here's hoping Sari's key will restore him. He's always been one of my favourite Transformers.

This was tramatising to someone who did not think that the movie was that bad with the 50 something killed of! :sad:

I called him Mr.Cubbie, was afraid to touch his toy, and new that he would be revived some how. Know i think that they are stuped, by Blurr SEEING Shockwave transform, and they didn't detect the energy signature. :-?

Dude, if they don't wise up, they will surly fall at the might of even Dirge! I still love Blurr with all my Spark. Just want to say, I'll get my revenge on ol' Walky yet :twisted:

Dirge hasn't appeared in the show yet. We don't even know if he ever will.
