For those curious, the estimated release date for Shockwave and Hot Rodimus seems to be November, with preorders opening up this month. The final two figures should be revealed before September.

I had the same thought.

EDIT: Bee is also looking a bit better for me, too. Maybe its just the closeup shot.

Told you I'll put Magnus on a diet! I'll take full credit for this.

But why did they have to give it that stupid fake car window in robot mode ? I would rather it have been a hatch like the classics figure. Magnus looks good. What fake car window on bumblebee are you talking about?

Cloud Shockwave
Wheeljack :APPLAUSE:
Ultra Magnus still looks too beefcake, but probably better in hand. The rest are ok. >:oP

Rodimus cloud mode is approved by me but $100? nope.

You're gonna pay that much for something you don't like?
Why are the cloud molds so much? That makes no sense to me.

The one located right under his neck in robot mode. Its obviously not the front or rear window of the beetle. Its a fake window.

Rodimus is kickass, but needs a winnebago mode. Not that I was going to get him anyway: the Reveal the Shield redeco of Classics Rodimus satisfies me just right.
MP Ultra Magnus looks alright... but I'm with Burn when I say that I'm disappointed that he's not a white Optimus Prime wearing armor. That's partly what made Ultra Magnus so cool.

EVA Optimus Prime looks okay. Can't really say much about him, since I know little to nothing about the series he's supposed to reference.

I never said I didn't like him. I do like the figure. I said he doesn't work as Shockwave. I may get him, but $100 is pushing it... time will tell.

Cyberpath wrote:Bee is slightly mis-transformed in the last pic. The arm panels are supposed to be folded to the back of the arms, and the Autobot symbol is supposed to be visible in robot mode.
That still doesn't fix his hollow arm, its a Masterpiece figure, the clue is in the title, it is supposed to look perfect in both modes, and frankly he doesn't.

And it's not like the tire doesn't go anywhere in altmode:

The new MP figures do look fantastic. I wonder if Bee's face will have a metallic finish like the other Autobots.

I know you're joking, but that type of behaviour is really not suitable for or accepted on Seibertron.com.

Never really saw that as a spare wheel, isnt it supposed to mirror mold marks from the original toy?

Besides the animation model doesnt have half of his roof hanging of his back. I just think they could have handeld his tranformation a little better, a this juncture I would say ToyWorld Bii looks tons better than this. he certainly has a cleaner bot mode.
Posted by Cyberpath on June 14th, 2014 @ 10:01am CDT

TW03BII also has a back piece and it looks even more prominent.

Additionally TW03BII is missing nearly all the windshields around his torso, his hips aren't yellow, and head isn't cartoon-accurate (copied from Henkei it seems.) It does look like a cool toy, but I think MP-21 is "it."

I agree it is head and shoulders above the Classics mold, and I suppose this is a case of each to their own, but I still feel that Bii wins out in terms of the final product, BTW the side on view of Bii is slightly mistransformed, the back pack does tab in a little more than that resulting in a slighlty more streamlined look.

Also revealed is the package art for the pair, which has been mirrored below!

To recap, Hot Rodimus is a redeco of Generations Springer, and Shockwave is a redeco of Generations Whirl.

had the others been around $60 I may have ben more tempted to get them.
