Man, I used to live a couple of miles from there, now I'm in the burbs, but still, a 30 minute ride on SEPTA puts me right in the middle of Philly.
Maybe I can get into a scene as an extra, that would rock!!!

Or Megatron uses the lincoln memorial as his thrown like he did in the movie based game if you win as the Decepticons or in the G1 episode "Atlantis, arise!" Megatron did the same thing.
Back to the movie though, it would be nice to see a city other than L.A. or New york used for each disaster,invasion,imminent doom smash things up type of movie so D.C. and the surrounding area would be a good choice for a climactic battle.

The ILM crew will have a field day laying waste to D.C. I'd be willing to bet we get to see a slug-fest between Prime and a 'Con ankle deep in the reflecting pool at the base of the Washington Monument.

They should bring it to Chicago. Itd be cool if we had Batman and Transformers to have been shot Downtown. I'd come visit the set a lot.

I see it now: The Autobots are waging a massive battle throughout DC, Starscream pins down Bumblebee in front of the Lincoln monunment, but is surprised to see a crack appear on Abe's face, all of a sudden the statue shatters to reaveal Lincolnvoy! Donning a stove pipe hat and a rocket powered sledge hammer, he begins kicking Starscream's ass!
