DETROIT, MI - Fans of Hollywood director Michael Bay's 'Transformers' series are expected to be in for a treat Friday afternoon in downtown Detroit.
The film's "Autobots," including the 2014 Bumble Bee Concept Camaro and Optimus Prime truck, are expected to be on public display from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Friday at the corner of Clifford and Adams streets.
News of the car displays was confirmed Thursday in a press release sent to MLive Detroit and comes at a time when crews appear to be wrapping up some "Transformers 4" filming downtown.

Filmed in Detroit? Then I guess Bay wouldn't need CGI or special effects to make it look like Detroit was laid in ruins by the Decepticons - it's already been laid in ruins by their government!

Wish people wouldn't use this as an opportunity to Detroit bash. I'll make my way downtown with my boys tomorrow to have a cool experience with the TF cars. It'll be nice to have a tiny piece of movie experience to share and a photo op.
