The Transformers Age of Extinction overstock isn't depleting, it seems. Winners (the Canadian name of TJ Maxx) now has Stomp and Chomp Grimlock, and at a reduced price of 50$ canadian (38.36$ US). He might be coming ot a TJ Maxx near you, if you are interested and held off this long. Also, it is to be noted that the recent rare Power Battler figures found (Junkheap, Vehicon, ect) can interact with this toy (as all other Power Battler figures can).

Personally I'd rather spend more money on the titan class knockoff of the leader toy. At least that one can move it's legs...and arms (fully)...and head...

Oh, it's not the first time I've seen the thing at 50% off. What I want is 75% or more. And I'm pretty sure I will see it.

Because let's face it. Why the hell did they made a 100$ 1 step TF? Because it's quite rare for little timmy to deserves a toy that is worth more than 40$. As a guy hanging around in toy sections (FOR TOY HUNTING ONLY) my ears are always open and when a parent shop a toy with his/her child, he/she only go for the cheap ones or they tell the child how limitted the budget is.

For that reason alone, I expect that Grimmy to be so plentiful that he'll be very, very dirt cheap.
Let's hope it's lesson learned for Hasbro.

You know what they say, it ain't over till the fat lady sings. Below you will find images of a newly revealed Takara Movie Advanced Exclusive EX Sideswipe. This figure is a silver redeco of Dark of the Moon Sideswipe (also pictured below) which was grey/beige.

It ships out tomorrow from Robot Kingdom and costs 26.90$ US + shipping.

Still a little plain for me, the same problem the dotm one had, I think I'll be sticking to my Darksteel

) and Sidearm Sideswipe look way better then what Takara is spinning off here. Way too little way to late it seems. :VEHI:

Now that's a surprise. I'm already happy with my regular DotM Sideswipe (but could never find Darksteel...), so I have no immediate need for him. I will say that release fixes a sore point of the original.

Does shiny Sideswipe have any sort of wave mate or is he all on his lonesome like ?

I like the deco but I still prefer Sidearm Sideswipe - I actually rather like the G2 like the Blue Sidearm Sideswipe that is covered in sponsor logos too. The FAB repaint is quite a nice colour too.

I was always a little disappointed in the Human Alliance - I think the gimmick harmed the toy more than most on that one.

With all this propensity for Retooling I kinda wish they'd do that to Voyager Ratchet he's not terrible but a few tweaks would help him a fair bit - even changes to the arms and weapons or a new head sculpt would be a start.

I guess it won't be to many months before the hype machine for the next Live action Movie and indeed the new animated movie begins again.

I hope they learned so lessons with AOE - such as early Power battlers were less popular than FAB was when taken as a whole - when judged by how many they made compared to how many they had left.

I just hope they learn to put more than two domestically available Decepticons out.
