Transformers Animated Lead Character Designer Derrick Wyatt has revealed another minuscule tidbit regarding characters within the transformers Animated Universe on his Twitter Page, this time regarding the Autobot Highbrow, Ultra Magnus's Head of Intel, as seen in Ratchet's flashback, in the third season episode "Transwarped":
Nothing to Wheeljack, but head of Autobot Intel, Highbrow mysteriously vanished. LongArm Prime now holds that
Three guesses as to what fate awaits Highbrow in the unseen time between Ratchet's awakening of Omega Supreme and the present day.
And in more Animated news, Animation designer Alex Dilts has updated his blog Alex's Portfolio with four images of background art that will feature in upcoming episodes.
These background images include some big spoilers for the upcoming season, one of which has been leaked before...

I remember seeing art with a damaged Ultra Magnus. Question is, who was responsible for it: Megatron, Shockwave, or someone we haven't seen yet.

What "major" spoilers? All we got are cubes, a bashed up Magnus and dinobot island covered in snow. I didnt see any "major" spoilers. Did i miss some thing?

For those who are trying to stay spoiler free, one of those background images contains a pretty big spoiler. For everyone else, there is nothing new, just different.

the last BG seems to bew lab that could be used by Soundwave to transfer the bots' minds into the human programs ala "Too Human"

I always loved the TF:A background art. Tehre was a make your own calendar for 2009 that features some of it, I bought 2.

Y'know, I never noticed before, but TFA has a slight Jack Kirby influence. For a '70s comic-book junky like myself, that's pretty cool.

One of them reminds me of the space bridge super computer from G1, where carly almost fell in. and the decepitcon stockade, maybe more combaticons anyone?
