Transformers: DOTM Filming at the Kennedy Space Center

Seibertron.com member Albershide has let us know about several new YouTube videos from the Transformers 3 filming at the Kennedy Space Center, located near Cape Canaveral, Florida. The videos show several car-related action sequences being shot in and around the iconic Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). The Autobot vehicles in the videos include Bumblebee, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Optimus Prime, the "Wreckers", the Ferrari Italia 458, and the Mercedes E-class, all previously seen in other filming locations. There are also a number of images from the filming at the Space Center on the Orlando Sentinel website. The gallery includes some detailed photos of the NASCAR "Wreckers" on set as well as some military helicopters doing some fly-bys. A few of the images can been seen below, the rest on the gallery can be viewed by clicking here.

Sideswipe operates on something called an eight-cylinder "V8" internal combustion engine to the least of my knowledge. Possibly a General Motors LS3, LSA, LS7, or LS9 engine.
That was sarcasm in the first sentence FYI. If you can't see the driver, you must look really close. The top of the driver's head is visible at some points.

Wait a minute...where's Ironhide??? I hope he doesn't die in the movie. Also, I've seen nothing of Skids and Mudflap recently. I wonder if they die too.

Yeah I want the toys too, but Hasbro will definitely simplify them beyond belief, taking note of all the guns, guns, and more guns that add a lot of detail and complexity. And they will most definitely be simplified condidering their size which would translate into deluxe figures. The probably also won't be able to change into the standard stock car mode either, just the "armed" mode.
