What's with the purple stripes? Are they supposed to be an homage to TF:Prime Cliffjumper's Terrorcon form, or what? And who's the yellow guy? I suspect Bumblejumper or Bumper, but he wasn't a weird Hummer/SUV thing.

Rarely have I seen a repaint that induces this much apathy in me.

That would actually work. The gun that came with Optimus could be replaced with a crane arm for Roller/Erector's vehicle mode.

Ugh. They had to use this shi**y mold for Cliffjumper? Honestly, the bot mode is okay, but the car mode looks like utter crap.

Hmm, I'm a bit bummed it's just a repaint. But considering I don't have a CJ for my Classics collection or this mold, I'll probably pick it up, especially if it's remolded.

Looks more like Knock Out than Cliffjumper's Terrorcon form. >:oP
I'd like to see if he has a new head to differentiate himself from Bumblebee.
Now, bring on Nemesis Prime!

This is a good little line, so I'm not too bummed out its a re-paint but I really really hope there is a new head.

I guess Roller's gun mode looks sort of like that cannon Cliffjumper had in the first episode (lengthwise at least); say, maybe it's Hauler, who also appeared out of nowhere mere minutes later! That almost makes too much sense.
New head or no, I'll pick this one up, despite the flimsiness of the mold. I just love this whole subline.

I don't own it, but from pics I'm not a fan of that mold. For someone who owns it is it a good figure? I'm also bummed that they're recycling minicons, but if he has a new head I'd forgive it. Considering the fact that these minicons are shrinking the size of the toys/ adding to the price they really haven't been doing much with them. They're usually just random micromasters or totally random. Few have made me happy about the added cost that they incur. Am I crazy or do people agree?

I'm really meh on this Cliff, He's most likely not going to get a remolded head, they haven't done that yet in the line.
I'm really not into his target master, half ass ripoff.
But how the hell do these "colombian" guys get the pics first rather than the official hasbro page?

new transformers toys and people are complaininh why???????

Re: Transformers Generations Legends Class Cliffjumper Revealed

Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good. In fact this is an oddly baffling repaint of a pretty awful toy to represent a character who already has many representations, a lot of which are better.
If this were another character, like Glyph I would be interested.
It's a bad figure. Legends Bumblebee is the cheapest-feeling mold I've touched since Armada Sparkplug. At $10 it's an insult.
Technically the attached figure isn't a minicon, either by faction or design. The Waspinator one is kind of cute, but not great quality. The others are no great shakes either.

True but I also remember a time when we didnt get new toys at all....and for every mona lisa there are dozens of pieces of "art" that have no appeal to the mass population

I don't want to sound like I'm picking on you or anything, but: the only time that there were no new Transformers figures was more than two decades ago. Since then we've had new toys every single year. Paucity of toys has not been an issue with the franchise for decades. Quality is the bigger concern.
If you enjoy this repaint then good for you. I won't deny for a second your right to be excited but you should respect our right to not be excited.

Now, hold on a second, guys. Nowhere on the Transformer Columbia page does it say for certain that is meant to be Cliffjumper. I mean, sure, a red Bumblebee deco and all makes Cliff the obvious choice. But as many have pointed out, that purple design on the deco is pretty peculiar, so while Cliffjumper is the first possible guess, that's all it really is: A guess.
For all we know, this could be Knock Out, or a G1 version of Stinger, or that MASK car Mindmaster mentioned. So I'm gonna ere on the side of caution and not jump onto the Cliffjumper bandwagon yet, since there's too many possibilities and ambiguities at work here.

while you could be completely right, strange designs or not, id assume its cliff. im just basing it on the strange silvery cliff from the classics line. but hey, who knows?Sabrblade wrote:Now, hold on a second, guys.
