Transformers Masterpiece Thrust Revealed at Tokyo Toy Show 2016

The 2016 Tokyo Toy Show is going on right now and will last throughout the week. One of the biggest reveals, along with Unite Warriors Sky Reign (with Ratchet) is Masterpiece Thrust as the next conehead seeker to be released under the Masterpiece Line. This is a retool of Masterpiece Ramjet, whose gallery can be seen here, and whose picture can also be seen below. That mold is itself a retool of MP 11 Starscream. It is unsure if this will be a Takaratomymall exclusive or not so stay tuned!

Better be. Gonna get all of the damn seekers before Mr Forcefield himself. That's an insult to him and others. And of all things, Thrust before dirge????? Dirge is my favorite conehead and Thundercracker my favorite seeker overall, and they leave my fav conehead for last. Takara, why must you hate me but love so many others, giving them these seekers and such :lol:

Exactly what I was thinking. Those legs have to be hindered somewhat with all that stuff. But it looks good and it looks like the character though :MAXIMAL:

I wasn't making any reference to any particular work. But, you do kind of miss how tongue-in-cheek a lot of my observations and comments are meant to be. If you see "winky" or some other special emoticon after a sentence or post of mine, it usually indicates that I'm just having a bit of fun.

The wing issue is probably why Dirge is being released last, if at all. I love Dirge, but the lack of a toy-accurate cubehead option is really off-putting.

The white face is right, but I don't know what's up with the black/dark gray parts clashing with the lighter gray parts. Should only be one shade of gray. That model sheet is digitally painted by fans incorrectly. The MP colour scheme is spot on.

Mine finally came back earlier this week. My package shipped out Tuesday. It was a loooong wait, but I'm happy to have a fixed sample for my collection. The QC'd MP Ramjets seem to be arriving at TFSource in waves, so I bet yours will arrive very soon. Good luck!

He looks pretty great, but damn that kibble is gonna get in the way a lot. Honestly, even though this is cartoon accurate, it's FAR m0ore obnoxious than MP-03's hip-pods were.

Also, this mold must be in shambles by now with how often it's been reissued.

The wings on his legs aren't just cartoon-accurate, it's also where they were on the G1 toy, so it's toy-accurate as well:

I'm diggin Thrust a lot more than Ramjet. The leg kibble is unfortunate but it doesn't matter to me since I wasn't going to get the figure anyway.

I've been studying these official images all morning, worried about those wings and posing the legs. And y'know, the MP Seeker legs were never that posable to begin with and I don't think he's any more hampered than Ramjet. So I'm feeling good.

Reservations now aside, I'm really loving him. The gruff look on his face, the colors, it's all great. Go figure though, the only two Seekers I had as a kid are the last to get the MP treatment :lol:

Yes, it is;

You can see here, it's hinged at the knee's

And you can see here, that there's nothing connecting it to the waist, so I'm afraid it is leg kibble
