Flickr.com user Lizzie B. has posted some interesting Transformers Movie pics of what appears to be a prop of Optimus Prime's head and shoulder used for reference during filming. This pic gives us a good idea at what Prime might look like plus his scale on the film.
Keep in mind this a set prop that is being used for reference and probably be added with CGI later during post-production.
