Transformers Power of the Primes Missing Prime Masters Teased with Predaking Set

Coming to us thanks to fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade, and Facebook Transformers fan Kenneth Tan, we have some potential news on the missing Prime Masters from the Power of the Primes toyline - Amalgamous Prime, Prima, Nexus specifically - on what looks to be a card or poster that will accompany the release of the Titan class Predaking set (given that all the Prime Masters feature Predaking's name and the powers he gains from them).

We already know that Onyx Prime will be released with the set itself, though we have no definite confirmation of the availability elsewhere so far, and the Matrix can be a stand-in for the Tirteenth Prime, meaning that these three are still possible to see a release in the short term future (i.e. before the line ends), and given that the image's source appears to be Weibo user Raffy Rodriguez - a known name from previous ..news stories - the possibilities are interesting. No, underneath it says 'Predaking' telling us about the combination of prime and the combiner.
What caught my eye is that we see 12 primes there, does that mean we won't be getting the 13th, which, if the aligned continuity applies, would fit as the 13th prime of course is Optimus himself.

Wish that glare wasn't there, can't get a clear look at Onyx. From what little we can see that really doesn't look to be the same as the one that comes with the Predacons. Hard to tell but it doesn't seem to have the gold in the middle and the black outline, it appears to be two-toned like every standard Prime Master is, in yellow and light orange. I still say the wording "Special Edition" rather than "exclusive" means we're getting Onyx twice.

It looks more like the art we saw on the display backdrop at NYCC.

I also just realized that's Quintus on the right and the two appear basically the same color just like they do on that poster of the Prime Masters. Also interesting that all four missing Prime Masters are yellow, what could be the significance of that?

I was hoping we'd get more little Pretender shells but I have a feeling the remaining Prime Masters will just be bundled with other figures just to get them out there (or even worse, some kind of exclusive nonsense you have to jump through hoops to snag).

My initial thought is basically this would be the equivalent of a "Trading card" for Predaking, I mean if they did include one, how much would that suck to have 12 different trading cards for Predaking, who would be crazy enough to try to collect all those? Abominus, Volcanicus etc... don't have tading cards because they were not released as a set. There is still no real news about if/ow the last 3 primes will be released.

Also, I know some are saying the matrix is a stand in for the 13th Prime, but see below early Promo art actually had 15 symbols, further proof in my mind that this line was seemingly cut short, though I'm sure someone will quickly post that this is not the case.

I've pretty much given up on hunting and just preorder from BBTS or TFsource now days. I've been wasting too much gas running around looking for anything especially since they don't seem to be sticking anything new. Every Wal-Mart and Target around me are just restocking wave 1 for some reason (but not the leader class figures) and are just now getting the studio series in.......

I asked that question at least 3 times previously in this thread...Some speculate it's Primus and Unicron, others said the 3 additional (12+3) represented the 3 matrixes that come with the 3 leaders- OP, RU, and OO, but now that we have a 4th Leader Nemesis Prime and coming out...??? but there has been no definitive answers as far as I know.

Actually,Nemesis prime would be the 5th leader, well 4th or 5th depending on whether he makes it out before monkey prime. OP, RP, RU, NP and OO. But, the 3 symbols being the 3 matrices could still work if we assume OP and NP share a matrix and RP and RU share a matrix. At this point, though, I believe it is anyone wild guess.

I think he meant that both Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime have the Matrix of Leadership while Rodimus Unicronus, Optimal Optimus, and Nemesis Prime all have different Matrices. But, Optimal Optimus's Matrix actually is still the Matrix of Leadership, so it is only three Matrices after all: the Matrix of Leadership, the Matrix of Chaos, and the Dark Matrix of Leadership.

It's nothing more but their standard titles, really. You can find them of the back of the cards.
