This is going to be one cool episode!

They're finally going to focus on the one character who has yet to be given any kind of spotlight episode.

Though, who else wants to bet that this one may instead give even more attention to Ratchet and Wheeljack that they both outshine Soundwave's role in the episode?

Here's what I hope will happen: Wheeljack and Soundwave fight, and though jackie does a lil bit of damage to him, soundwave will prove to be way out of jackie's league and he'll get the relic from ratchet.

Because of this, wheeljack will realize he's not as great as he think he is, so he decides to join Team Prime and stay at the base and get jack's chick friend as a human partner because im tired of miko being the only human girl. (jack's mom doesn't count )

And that's what I'm thinking.

It could be, but I think that might detract from the relic hunt and kinda come out of nowhere, but it's definitely plausible.

I've watched the preview clip like 6 times now. Saturday needs to come on already.

I don't see how it would detract from the relic hunt, i meant the sample is the relic, because the ancients knew the formula

I doubt the relic would be a tank of synthetic energon. Why would they hide such a thing? It'd be like if archeologists discovered an old gas tank or an old soda cooler with the liquid still inside. Something like that wouldn't be hidden if they didn't want it found. It would instead be destroyed/used up/extinguished/exhausted/etc. and the formula itself would be hidden away.

^No, seeing as how they said synthetic energon could turn the tide of the war, it'd be more like a scientist nowadays finding a way to cost-effectively mass-produce an equivalent to gasoline, then realizing that if people start to fight over this it could get ugly, so he hides his findings

They might have hidden it right on the start of the war, because their main energy source was energon. In ""Stronger, Faster" they made it clear that people might have been working on ways to produce the formula during the war, but nothing worked. So maybe whoever was in charge destroyed all the samples, and sent the last one out in hopes that neither side would discover it, because it could turn the tide of the war

This is rampant speculation, i know. I'm not saying it's definitely this, im just saying it's a possibility
