Transformers: Robots In Disguise Air Dates Announced for UK and Germany

Posted by Va'al Feb 1, 2015 at 4:36am CST 26,750 views
In some animated series news from the Old World, both the UK and Germany have a confirmed (more or less) airing date for the upcoming Robots in Disguise! According to ToonZone.net, as of 7th March, Cartoon Network UK will start showing the new series, with a new episode shown twice each weekend. Starblight.de, on the other hand, simply confirms the month of March, without a set date yet. How long can it be until we hear something certain for the US too?

Saturday 7th sees the UK premiere of the new series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Continuing where Transformers: Prime left off, Bumblebee now finds himself leading a ragtag team of new Autobots in a mission to round up the escapees of a Decepticon prison ship which has crashed on Earth. Episodes will air weekends at 10:30am and 6:30pm.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

It's at least the same month as the U.S. premiere (according to the report from UK Toy Fair). We just need an exact date for it.

*shrug* Tis what happens when Cartoon Network buys the global broadcasting right to the series.

I think we're well past the days of tf airing on the 1-5 channels. Though Beast Wars was the last tf to air on terrestial tv.

We all know that Bumblebee and Bisk are both muscle cars. But is Bisk much bigger and taller than Bumblebee? Obviously, I'm very interested to see what Bisk's altmode might be like once he hits in the New York Toy Fair on February 14, 2015. :CON: :BOT:

Bisk is the size of the Moon.

Sabrablade, are you actually saying that Bisk is much bigger and taller than Bumbleebee? I wonder if the Decepticon skunk named, Stench will indeed show up that the Toy Fair this month. Because skunks are small and slender, it is likely that Stench's vehicle mode will be some kind of a motorcycle? But is the motorcycle the actual altmode for Stench, or is he a car, just like, Bisk and Clampdown are? :CON:

Not anymore. He ate himself.

Stench isn't confirmed to be his name. That's the Chinese name.

And he turns into a pumpkin.

You know, Sabrablade, you seemed to love to associate food as robots' altmodes when you know that's not true. Quit playing games here, and let's get straight to the point here! These animal-based Decepticons already have their own vehicle modes. When you say that Bisk is about the size of a moon, are you actually meant that he was much bigger and taller than Bumblebee himself? Also, Stench or whatever the name that Hasbro gave to the Decepticon skunk, is not a pumpkin. He has to be a vehicle of some sorts. Is he really a motorcycle or a car? Quit associating Transformer with food ever again! :CON:

Give it an hour after airing and it'll be on every video upload site on the planet.

We`re all excited to see the action figures of Quillfire, Springload, Thunderhoof, and Clampdown. But the listing only classified these characters as One-Step and Legion, which I know that you're not a big fan of, due to their lousy transformation. Will we ever see a Warrior Class figures for each of these new characters?

I also do hope that when Bisk, Terrashock, Filch, and Ped show up at the Toy Fair, they will be classified in all sections, including Warrior class. Because you know, it would be more fun to see these guys in their Warrior forms. :CON:

Me? I mean, I was the one who reported the news from TFW2005, and even if I think one-steps are useless and the Warrior's have been less than stellar, it's still important news, especially the Legion Windblade bit. ;)

Also, show of hands, who wants her to be absolutely adorable and vaguely anime looking?

Steeljaw has taken upon himself the task of becoming the de facto leader of the Decepticon convicts running amok on Earth, and will be going around rounding up each of them to join his army. Those who join him get scratches on their Decepticon symbols as a sign of their having joined his army.

I'm getting the feeling that Fracture is going to be the Starscream to Steeljaw's Megatron. He seems too...cool looking.

If you're referring to the screenshots of Thunderhoof standing in front of a makeshift space bridge, then no, that's not quite it.

Warning: Actual spoilers below.

In episode 6, Thunderhoof pretends to be a mythical creature of local folklore called something like "Cospego"/"Kospego" and forces humans to gather materials for building a space bridge so he can get back to Cybertron. The plan fails and causes some unexpected consequences for Thunderhoof, Bumblebee, and Sideswipe.
