Really? If I knew this was news worthy, I would've reported this a week ago -_-. (With that said, I still find it amusing that the show already has a licensed Easter basket.)

These started showing up the day after Valentine's. Walmart has similar baskets, but smaller. You'd think they'd include a cheap fast food level figure in these instead of all generic stuff with images on them, being based on toy licenses and all. Couldn't even be bothered to include proper candy for the price.

Ditto. These suckers showed up about two weeks ago at my Wal-Mart. Besides, no knock-offs, not interested. Anybody miss the days when a shoddy Devastator KO came out at Easter or Christmas?

I've seen a few newly KOed faces in baskets this year though, mostly in CVS and Dollar General (I think). The Hardtop and Superion-Maximus A-10 mold in one Unicron Trilogy themed basket, and a Bayniverse legend Ratchet in another. Nothing really worth bothering with though, not like 10 years ago with all them gestalt teams. And now the CW toys are too big to fit a whole team in a basket even if they were shrunk a bit, so that won't be happening with them, and Hasbro reaps another minor benefit of finally giving us combiners the size they should've grown to long ago!

Agreed. Pre-wrapped Easter baskets are traditionally supposed to be for TF knock-offs, which offer way more play value than these frisbees and yo-yos. Primus, how I wish I'd gotten the Transmetal Primal and Megs basket years ago, before the crackdowns.Emerje wrote:You'd think they'd include a cheap fast food level figure in these instead of all generic stuff with images on them, being based on toy licenses and all. And the one thing the basket doesn't contain is a transformer.

"Taffy candy"? Isn't that a bit redundant? All taffy is candy, as far as I know.
Wow, look at that sweet Bumblebee frisbee. I'm so jelly of whichever kiddy got this today.
I'm being a bit silly, but in serious, happy Easter everyone.

Even as a naive 8yo kid, I would be really, really disapointed by either of these baskets. The Pony one should have at least include a blind bag pony and the TF one should have at least include a minicon.

I know what you mean. I miss the ones that had generic Dinobots or Beast Wars figures in them. About 10 years ago I got a basket from Kmart with a very large KO Sky Garry in it. I haven't seen anything nearly as cool as that since.

If you're still looking for some of Takara Tomy's offbeat filler characters, AmiAmi has a fresh stock of them for 1,880jpy (US$15.80) each. This is includes the harder to find Roadblock, Swoop, and Snarl. They probably won't last long at what's basically Hasbro prices so good luck!

All you need is a decent picture of the 'code ring' , from a Seibertron.com galley for example, on a second device or computer screen and it will still scan to unlock in the game. Yeah it's "cheating" but having to re-scan the 'code ring' again when the character 'goes back to Cybertron' after about a day is stupid.

You're able to do that?

On the legion class figures, what weapons (if any) are supposed to fit in the hand and vehicle peg hols on the figures?

I've got them holding G1 technobots weapons, but the Prime Cyberverse energo weapons work too.Kyleor wrote:On the legion class figures, what weapons (if any) are supposed to fit in the hand and vehicle peg hols on the figures?

Anything with a standard 3mm peg should work.

Let's get speculating! Which RID Decepticons do you think are most likely to get the Warrior treatment other than Steeljaw?

This is a great question. Hasbro confirmed there would be others. I suspect Fracture and Thunderhoof to get the Warrior treatment and maybe Clampdown too.

Hammerstrike will probably be 'too hard' for them to do properly. Chop Shop probably won't be any sort of combiner, but hopefully would still look cool. Quillfire hopefully would come with a few handheld quill weapons. Definitely want to see one of Filch, they probably could remold a Laserbeak for Filch.

I am really hoping for Thunderhoof.
I would say any of the Cons that are teaming up with Razorclaw are good candidates, as they will be reoccurring characters.
I would really like to see Buffalo Dude. (Can't think of his name OTTOMH)
