Now that the Christmas/holiday season is over the entire world over, it's clearance time! It's been noted in stories we've posted that Titans Return and RiD figures have been placed on clearance at some retail locations in the U.S., and now, thanks to fellow Seibertronian Cprime18, we have confirmation that the toys from Transformers: The Last Knight are going on clearance as well! He found Leader Class Optimus Prime for a bargain at $25- that's a whopping 50% off! This particular figure was spotted at a Walmart in San Antonio, Texas. Have you seen any TLK figures on clearance? Please let us know by sending a quick email (with photo proof) to sightings@seibertron.com, and also, post them in your local sightings boards and our toy sightings forum to let fellow fans know!

The Voyager one works. Not sure about the Leader...

Thanks. That's what I thought. No reason to buy something I already own, even if it is on a good sale.

It was on clearance so I guess they were just wanting to get rid of it.

You missed a word here. You don't like the TLK head so you want to put the DOTM deluxe head on the TLK deluxe body, right?
Well, why not? Dunno how that would look though. Maybe digi-bash the result? If it's look good enough for you, then hope the ball joints are compatible. If not, just MAKE it work. I do it all the time for my customs.

I no longer have DOTM deluxe Barricade and my TLK is in a moving box. So I can't tell. If you don't have a DOTM deluxe Barricade on hand and your only Option is Ebay, it's a hard call to make. But if you have him and all you have to do is to buy a TLK one, then just buy it and see for yourself. In case of complete incompatibility, you'll have to use some scrap you may "or should have) on hand to make it work. Often, I even have to adapt heads that came from balljoint to swivel mushroom pegs and vice-versa!
Anyway, you better ask those questions OVER THERE in order to stay on topic and getting more help.

Well that's good to hear, but what about the toy's?

Now if only I could get a Cogman, either version, without jumping through insane hoops monetary and/or effort-wise. I know it's been said to death over and over, but really, how can a line be distributed so badly that literally half the toys barely even turn up - and manage to do that internationally on top of everything? It's really stunning; I'm just lucky I picked up my Wave 3 Voyagers the time I found one of each, 'cause I never saw either of them ever again and they'd have been a real disappointment to miss out on.

All I can tell you is what I said in the video, Amazon Japan is cheaper than any seller I saw on eBay or Amazon US. The fact that you can shop from the mobile app now is icing on an already heavenly cake.

Yeah, thanks for the tip! It's still a lot of dollars, but it's definitely better than most situations round the net. I have got some money to burn all the sudden... I'll have to think on't.

Plus, since you live in Australia, Amazon Japan will front load your border fees and taxes so it will be even more expensive. Canada has similar import regulations as Australia and I have never found it worthwhile to order from Amazon japan for that reason.

Bronzewolf wrote:On the topic of distribution, I finally FINALLY saw Wave 2 in stores a few weeks ago. I picked up a Slug and a Sqweeks, skipping out on Drift, because he's just too red. Sqweeks is really, really cool. Quite the highlight of the wave. Love the scooter, and the trailer is an extremely nice addition. Slug I more or less got for formality's sake, to try and complete my Movie Dinos. He was one of two I'm still missing, as I picked up TLK Slash earlier in the fall. (I just need the Stegosaurus, which I plan to try and find the black exclusive variant of when I go to Universal Studios this summer). He really surprised me, though, as he's actually quite nice. Dino mode is great, and robot mode is a lot more manageable than a lot of his Bayverse Dino brethren. That soft plastic that most of them have really concerns me, though. Both tails on my AOE Strafe have almost completely torn off. I'm going to have to super glue them soon. I hope the rest don't follow suit.
I've already had to glue both horns on my AoE Slug by this point

Urgh, I only just placed a giganteriffic order with AmiAmi three days ago! So close to perfect timing; if I'd just held off for a few days I could've gotten a hold of him now, but as it stands I'll have to think hard whether I want to pay the extra shipping for him by himself.
Ah well, at the very least I managed to pick up TLK Slash for just about half price (which I've decided is reasonable enough for him/her) in the big order. Looking forward to experiencing that mold for the first time, especially with no unreasonable expectations since I paid so little for it in the end.

I didn't regret the 40$CAN spent on Cogman. He's that great!

You'd be hard pressed to find hot wheels versions of the 84 and 85 bots.
EDIT, I should add before you say it or anyone else does, that yes I am sure at some point there was cars similar enough, but Hot Wheels on the secondary market have insane pricing for a tiny diecast car.

This may be true for only specific models that are also MOSC. Because Hotwheels, Matchboxes and the like are common like ROACHES at thrift shops. Bags and bags of them for just a few bucks each. Sure, getting what you actually want may be around 1% chance. But anyone who just want an epic small die-cast cars collection can have a MASSIVE ammount in a few seconds for less than a McDonald's meal.

That's not what I meant. I meant that any company making such cars only needs to pay for the CAR licence (plus some sponsors perhaps, for racing cars), rather than the TRANSFORMERS licence to release most of the G1 '84 Autobot cars. I'm sure there are Matchbox, Corgi, Hotwheels, Majorette, Tomicar versions already out there, too.

I spotted Wave 3 at my TRU... but at $20 a pop I had to skip Strafe. Now it's all gone...
Keep an eye on your Walmarts, people! Voyagers at $13 and now Deluxes at $7 at my local one, not advertised! Have them scanned! Hopefully Wave 3 will be pushed out now...

One step dragonstorm is on sale for 20 bucks on target.com. For that price I couldn't pass. Ordered it last night and going to pick it up now.

Which one? I think the legion is still MIA in the US. Also was the allspark Sqweaks and megatron ever found in the US?

For a long time the only allspark toy I saw was the starter pack or whatever with optimus. Last night I saw hound and drift at target but have not seen squeaks or Megatron yet.
Just picked up one step dragonstorm. I might be the only person who feels this way, but I love this figure! He is massive idc that he's pretty much a brick.

This hasn't been the case in other parts of the world, where Hot Rod's Deluxe Class figure has appeared at regular retail. Friend of Seibertron Mike from Tilburg, Netherlands found this figure at Top 1 Toys in Tilburg, marking our first confirmed sighting of Hot Rod at Dutch retail.

Have you found Hot Rod in your country? Have you seen him at U.S. retail in person? Let us know and happy hunting for those hard to find figures!

The images shown, and mirrored below for your viewing convenience, feature the basic parts of the toys that allow for the interchangeable cube cores to be inserted in the chest of the characters. As you can see from the initial concept design, the cubes were thought to be much smaller than what the figures ended up being after all. Give it a look, and join the Energon Pub conversation!

How likely am I going to get a crosshairs with that problem? I’d be willing to spend a few extra dollars for one, but not if it’s like 50% chance of getting a defective one.
Those problems are not really a big issues. The loose wheel can be tightened with Pledge Floor Polish and as for storing the guns, you just have to put them in the right way.
Also, there may be some production number on the packajing to differentiate the runs, but even if you know them, no online retailers would care. In the end, it's a throw of the dice.

The wheel will always be looser on one side, regardless. But for it to be super loose, yes its a 50% chance. But as Kanrabat said, its fixable on your end.
