Man, it seems like the after that first image of Agent Ravage (or Tridredacus agent, whatever you like better) went up, the floodgates were open and not only do we have a bunch of in hand images from various online users like B127 and Uranus but we even have a video review from China. This toy uses the Cheetor mold as a base and gives it a whole new torso. The backdrop mimics the inside of the ship he's in at the end of Season 2 and you can stick G1 Ravage inside the dashboard to mimic the scene where Ravage himself turned into a cassette and inserted himself into the cockpit to play the sickest 90s riff you have ever heard!

We don't know which retailers will carry this toy yet to it's too soon to cry out for exclusives. Remember that the Refraktor set was not an exclusive after all.

By the way, I must say, it's pretty funny to read a bunch of comments online that really make it seem like people have no clue what a panther is. And they talk with such certainty about an animal that doesn't exist haha

FYI to anyone who may not know, black panthers are not an actual animal/species. There is no such thing as a species of big cat that has fully black fur.

Some Jaguars, and some Leopards (two different species of big cats from different parts of the world) can sometimes have black on their fur along with their spots. And that's it.

Aside from the fact that his feet are too small, I’m really digging this set! Especially as it includes G1 Ravage since I’ve been wanting one to replace my original loose-jointed G1 figure for a while. Just hope the price isn’t ridiculous, but considering how much retooling this took, I’m sure it’s not going to be cheap.

Nemesis Reformatted wrote:NEVER used to be like this. We NEVER had this many exclusives before. This is a totally new beast.

For somebody that claims they've been in this hobby for a long time you sure do act like you're new to this and nobody appreciates your entitled attitude. Just because you missed out on something doesn't instantly mean it went to a scalper, it could have gone to a collector just as deserving as you. You not having the money to buy them when you want them is your problem and yours alone. You saw Soundwave, it was there, it isn't up to Walmart to set one aside just for you. And really, just wait 5 years or so, they'll make another Soundwave. And really, you can't complain about 2020 exclusives being hard to get, that was hard on everyone, it was unprecedented due to a number of factors still being felt now.

And we've always had a ton of exclusives every year, this is nothing new. If anything it is MUCH EASIER to get exclusives than ever before now that BotCon and TRU are out of the picture and SDCC exclusives are sold online plus most major exclusives can be imported from Hasbro Asia (where they're often sold at retail) for much less than scalper prices or easily bought from Takara Tomy in Japan.

Just for fun:
Every BotCon exclusive (85+ exclusive figures from 2000 to 2010)
Every SDCC exclusive (12 exclusives, including two statues, from 2005 to 2010, 2005 was given away at the show, the rest sold out online within an hour)
Every TRU exclusive (50+ exclusive releases, several as multi figure packs, from 2001 to 2010, no mass retail repacks)
Every Target exclusive (45+ exclusive releases, mostly multi figure packs, from 2000 to 2010, no mass retail repacks)
Every Walmart exclusive (45+ exclusive releases, mostly multi figure packs, from 2001 to 2010, no mass retail repacks)

Seriously? You're going to compare recreational hobbies to collectible hobbies? Are you kidding me?

Why are feet so weird in Kingdom? I noticed it most in Galvatron and the Cheetor mold in particular.

What a time to be alive as a beast wars fan! Of course we'll see if im singing the same tune once we know pricing and availability but man am I excited! His forearms are a little scrawny but he's great!

I love that the reviewer got excited about the upper body transformation (if I interpreted that correctly) and that he added "Wakanda forever" haha especially because I like to make other teams out of transformers characters and ravage would definitely be my Black Panther. And maybe shadow panther as Shuri

I’m excited by the upper body transformation too! :APPLAUSE:
Watching the review, I’m liking the way the arms fold in to fill the gap, the way the head has the extra piece to fill out the neck, the nice waist swivel, and just the overall aesthetic. It’s quite obvious that the head is a Tigertron repaint from the review so it’s interesting that we’ll see the “repaint” version before the actual version.

Unlike those who wish for black magic to exist that will allow this Ravage to morph into the G1 cassette with a deluxe+ budget, I'm really exited for this set and that "natural" animal altmode. Hasbro really have knocked it out of the park to give use the cleanest bot AND panther modes.

Fingers crossed that this thing will be available everywhere and will not be 100$ or something at MSRP.

The head isn't Tigatron's as Tigatron is a Voyager in this line, more likely they've taken his transformation scheme and applied it to the cheetor retool

This is so glorious, who could have ever guessed we would get a Beast Wars ravage that wasn’t just a simple repaint? I’m also in love with the fact that it includes the actual G1 Ravage, and not his WFC counterpart. My only complaint is that he’s missing his Decepticon insignia on the other shoulder! A small price to pay for this badass bitch

While I'm surprised how extensive this is, I had hoped something like this would come along, I believe both hasbro and funpub were abundantly aware of how badly large parts of the fandom wanted a reissue of metals ravage, if I'm not mistaken the question came up at multiple botcons or something.

wow! i didn't expect ravage to look as Good as he does! a show accurate robot mode, and a decent panther mode? when he was first announced i thought he was either going to be a straight repaint or just some recycled BW mold.

Kind of odd he comes with a original reissue cassette Ravage, I thought he might come with a slight redeco of "Micromaster" Ravage from WFC, since he is technically part of the WFC line.

I've been seeing in-hand images of battle Across Time BW Grimlock on instagram and it's looking like the feaux dino eyes in robot mode will be painted green and thats greatttttttt news because holy cow it was bothering me so much. Definitely not a perfect representation of the character and I was happily looking over the imperfections but the lack of paint on the chest was killing me. I had my fingers crossed for toyhax to come out with a set so I could fix it

Ravage looks great. I don't understand how he looks skinnier in beastmode than Cheetor and in robotmode he looks way more beefy.

Transformers toy magic I guess.

Now that Hasbro fully goes Beast Wars (very happy for the Beast Wars fans), I hope Hasbro will do a Unicron Trilogy remake next. Maybe in 1... what should you call it, season?
Or they pickup the War for Cybertron Games, that would be awesome. Those TF designs were great but the toy technology wasn't there yet. Fall of Cybertron line had the plastic budget dilemma back then.

Great stuff people, a lot for every fan these days :D

According to the rumour mill, Hasbro abandoned plans to update UT in the next line... instead opting to update Prime. Y'know the series that started a decade later and still has decently engineered figures for the most part.

I liked Prime because it was probably one of the few times Transformers felt like an actual show, but the lack of UT is a gut punch. I was really looking forward to some UT updates (specifically Demolisher, Hot Shot, Thrust, and Megatron + Optimus).

On the bright side, as long as this approach works, they will do the UT Trilogy at some point. Though I would love to know why the decision to change the 'legacy' series

Third parties starting on armada MPs so there is that and it will be nice to pick up some Prime stuff as long as they dont miss out characters and make them the size they shoud be (Hardshell for one). No gaurantees any figures wil be as good as the old though for any line.

I'm looking for a decent Prime Optimus Prime (not the easiest thing for ebay search results) now I've got Hades Megatron so I guess I can wait for the new line. next line will probably have a bit of everything in it even if its only a few bots here and there or just homages

Knockout, Arcee, and Bulkhead who shares his tooling with Optimus... somehow :-? are the supposed Prime Characters coming first. No mentions of Hardshell or Airrachnid redos.

Those are the ones who DESPERATELY needs to be updated.
Hardshell as a proper big voyager.
Airrachnid must be a small voyager like SS86 Rodimus so that she can be a proper triple-changer and be show accurate.

I was just giving some more consideration to the Buzzworthy Worlds Collide set. It is odd how a little change in marketing can make something more/less desirable to some.

I have to say in truth, this set is is many ways similar to the Two box sets that Hasbro released for Titans Return, with a variety of characters from different continuities. However for some reason I just found those two sets far more appealing, even though they were arguably just as *random* as this set. But for some reason the Buzzworthy set just feels cheap to me, and none of the characters except Fangry even remotely interest me.

Ravage looks fantastic and manages to make Cheetor look out of place in his own mold (not that he needed help). It's almost like this mold was made for him first and they shoehorned Cheetor in later.

I've been seriously tempted to pick up a Cheetor reissue to replace the Kingdom version.

Looks like T-Wrecks is available for pre-order now for Redcard holders. Due August 1st.

https://goto.target.com/c/1137247/81938/2092?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.target.com%2Fp%2Ftransformers-g ... A-81892813

Also, it might be worth it to use Target's app if you do a fair amount of purchasing there. I just ordered T-Wrecks on a sweet deal I put together specifically for his pre-order. A couple weeks ago, I got an offer from Target's app to make two $70 purchases in the next 14 days and receive a $35 reward. That happened to be the day I found Galvatron and Rhinox in store, so it was perfect, I was 1/2 way there already. Groceries and toiletries easily made up the second $70 purchase, and I just cashed in this morning, getting T-Wrecks for about $15 as a result.

I got a Red Card debit card but I'm waiting until I see this in hand. I have no attachment to the character's fiction even if he possibly might be a maximal form of Grimlock. And with the chance to see it in-store, there's no FOMO for once

I finally found Kingdom Galvatron! Unfortunately, it’s got the shoulder misassembly issue. I tried to do the fix as seen on YouTube, but it requires much more force to just pop out the pin than I am comfortable with, so for now, I just twist the shoulders around and accept having the pin holes face the front. I’ll keep looking for a correctly assembled copy in the meantime. Otherwise, it’s a great figure with an intricate, but not convoluted conversion, great articulation, and minimal hollow gaps in either mode, and is the best official “G1” version of Galvatron yet.

I also found Core Class Soundwave at the same time. There was only one on the shelf among about 7 or 8 Dracodons. I don’t think Dracodon is coming in solid cases. Either Soundwave is shortpacked, or he is just flying off the shelves as soon as a case is put on the shelves. Soundwave himself is great. The shoulders don’t line up flush in alt mode, due to the tight ball joints, but they’re on the back of the figure, so it’s not a constant eyesore. He’s a welcome addition to my growing collection of desk toys at work. :)

Thanks to Seibertronian Thundertron for alerting us to the news that Kingdom Leader Class T-Wrecks is now available for preorder! He's on Target's website and/or app in the U.S., though as of now, he's only available to preorder to those who have Target's RedCard, which is a Target branded credit card, or a debit card tied to your personal debit card.

While he is available to RedCard holders for preorder now, previous information indicated that he'd be available for non-RedCard holders on July 25th, which is indicated as his release date. Thundertron (and myself) was able to place an order, with an arrival date of August 28th to September 2nd. If you have Early Access, you can place your order by clicking either picture above to be taken to his listing page. It should also be noted that even RedCard holders are limited to a single figure. Happy Hunting, Seibertronians!

I wish they had written his name as "Covert Agent Rabich" on the box, in Russian script. Thanks to Beast Wars, I've retconned his accent whenever I've read comics with him talking in them in that accent.

I am sad that he never said "In Karn, energon drinks YOU!"...

I have the original, which makes this a really easy pass. Plus, I'll get that Jurassic park set eventually so I'll already have more than enough of that T Rex mode.

Not to derail the discussion, but does Tyrannocon have a faction? I know the vehicle is literally named Autobot JP93 so no confusion there but is the dino a Decepticon or a Predacon? The Amazon listing doesn't have any clues and I don't see a faction symbol, on either of them, in the pictures.

More than likely Autobot. None of the crossovers have been eeeevil and jurrasic park might not have given permission for the licence incase people remembered what they did in the 40s.. XD
