I finally found Kingdom Galvatron! Unfortunately, it’s got the shoulder misassembly issue. I tried to do the fix as seen on YouTube, but it requires much more force to just pop out the pin than I am comfortable with, so for now, I just twist the shoulders around and accept having the pin holes face the front. I’ll keep looking for a correctly assembled copy in the meantime. Otherwise, it’s a great figure with an intricate, but not convoluted conversion, great articulation, and minimal hollow gaps in either mode, and is the best official “G1” version of Galvatron yet.
I also found Core Class Soundwave at the same time. There was only one on the shelf among about 7 or 8 Dracodons. I don’t think Dracodon is coming in solid cases. Either Soundwave is shortpacked, or he is just flying off the shelves as soon as a case is put on the shelves. Soundwave himself is great. The shoulders don’t line up flush in alt mode, due to the tight ball joints, but they’re on the back of the figure, so it’s not a constant eyesore. He’s a welcome addition to my growing collection of desk toys at work.
