Once again Takara steps up and goes above and beyond Hasbro giving us the best Kup to date outside of a theoretical Masterpiece. The inclusion of Recoil a new mold update to the G1 Targetmaster is the cherry on the sundae. Highest possible recommendation.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Albatross250, and with the previous image found on Loopaza MegaStore's Facebook page, we have confirmation of those Takara Tomy Transformers Legends figures reported here.
Specifically, we're looking at March 2018 releases of LG64 Seaspray and Lione (Sawback), LG65 Target master Twin Twist, LG66 Target Master Top Spin! Still no image available, but we do have price points in Yen of 2000 and 4000 respectively, meaning 17 USD and 35 USD at the time of writing. (Also included in the image appear to be reissues of MPM-3 Bumblebee and TLK-25 Nitro Zeus.)

So Twintwist and Topspin are officially Targetmaster-Headmaster-Jumpstarter-Wreckers. Talk about ambitious. I'll probably end up getting those two over the Hasbro versions for the Targetmasters. Seaspray depends entirely on if I can find a Hasbro version before Power of the Primes starts.

Lol. They just want to be friends with everyone.
Obviously the Prime Masters are a repurposing of the Titan Masters. The PoTP deluxes will be able to combine with voyagers like traditional Combiner Wars, but also repurposed to combine with each other (Dreadwind and Blackwing). With that in mind I wouldn't say some traditional Titan Masters are out-of-the-question for a late wave PoTP, like the Autobot "shooty-men".

Takara's Kup version is so much better it's not even funny.

Um, the only 2 deluxe figures that have been shown to combine together are Dreadwind and Blackwing, so I wouldn't go expecting that for every one. It makes much more sense that the feature is unique to them as they were in G1.
I'm also pretty sure Hasbro as commented on no new head/titan masters in PoTP. So I would say the Autobot shooty men are out of the question for PoTP, at least as head/titan masters. Remember, none of the PoTP figures have the removable head and only the legends scale have cockpits that I am aware of. It would be highly unusual for them to change mid-line.

I sort of agree, but don't mind the Hasbro version though. However, with both of them, the "flat-back" syndrome struck again which really bothers me. There's so much going on with the legs that I wish they had figured out a better way to distribute the figure's parts so that he had a traditional backpack or something to beef up his upper back. I feel the same way about Sharkticon Gnaw, who could have been easily remedied if the top half of the "shark" head was attached to his back instead of his legs. They both remind me of "flat back" variant of MOTU Two-Bad, which is the less desired version of the two.

I apologize in advance for you not being able to look at your Kup toys the same way again but b_croco on Twitter has revealed something that slipped under our collective radar for months: Kup is misassembled. The panels on his legs that cover his wheels are on the wrong sides where the panel covering the right wheel should be on the left and vice versa. How do we know? Well look at your Kup and check how the central line between the two decorative boxes does not line up with the line extending beyond it. In truth, by switching those panels, those lines would line up, and the images below that show a fixed Legends Kup, show that. In reality the smaller box should always be closer to the vehicle, which is not the case of any Kup assembled at the factory.
We have images below showing the problem on both versions along with what a fixed version looks like. The fixing looks very tedious though.

The Kup fix just looks like pop off the panels and swap them. I take it it isn't that simple???

One of the photos clearly shows the use of some kind of SAW. That's where I draw the line
If I have to saw up a figure to fix it, then I'll just keep it the way it is, thanks

Nope, as the panels in question also accommodates the rivets the wheels are connected with. That explains the saw used. Also, Tribute Orion Pax has the same problem.

I still can't see or understand what's going on with Kup's supposed parts problems. The photos look like a jumbled mess.
As for Hotrod's comic, it's typical "Sikomofo" up to his usual, purile tricks again. He's not exactly the best thing to happen to Japan, or transformers, is he...

It's purely looks, but the space between the two compartments in question does not line up with the notch above them, creating a jagged effect.

Yeah, it took me about 5 minutes just to see what the issue was. I'm normally pretty OCD about my figures being as perfect as possible, but this is such a small detail, it doesn't even show up on my OCDometer.

Hey, not sure if this is "newsworthy", it as a follow up to the Facebook article, it might be worth noting that BBTS has pre-orders up for Lione Seasrpay etc. as well as GodFireConvoy.
Seaspray and Lione @ BBTS 19.99
Top Spin
Twin Twist

So on Kup, is anyone really bothered enough about knowing the leg panels were mis-assembled to actually cut into them and swap them?
Big fat NOPE here.

Not even close. My Tribute Orion Pax doesn't like to cooperate with the leg-panels lining up in vehicle mode so this was originally a ray of hope for me - maybe it's a misassembly that can be fixed, however bad? thought my naive self. Nope, just an aesthetic misassembly that doesn't affect the figure; I guess I'm still just doing it wrong. Still good to know about though, I suppose
