Does anyone else have Galvatron or Rodimus Prime on preorder with Target? Mine are now listed as Backordered. Was really looking forward to getting them. I hope it won't be too long.

I think o. supreme hit the nail on the head when he mentioned the Optimus Prime microfigure. That thing could be considered a choking hazard, requiring an upping of the age range.william-james88 wrote:Jelze Bunnycat wrote:OK, just saw a review of Titan Class Autobot Ark (he's out folks!)...
Why is he marked as 15+ instead of 8+ like the rest of his range?
I guess to show that this is for collectors and not kids. 15+ is the default collector age range across all collectibles. Don't know if that means he won't be getting an in store release.

Thank you. Although I *may* have spoke too soon. I don't have Haslab Unicron, but I completely forgot the Centurion Drone pack also has a Micro figure, and the age on it is 8+. Unless perhaps there is a different standard for online exclusives vs something produced for standard retail? Also possibly, the safety guidelines for toys in the United States changed in the last year?

Why does Road Rage have a slit mouth going across her whole face?

My Target preorder for Rodimus also changed to backordered. And my Amazon preorder got pushed back to October 15th. At least neither has been cancelled yet.

Under-3 age guidelines for choking hazards are a critical safety precaution for infants and toddlers. I don't think there's a similar requirement for ages 8 and up. Honestly, I think this is just marketing, look at how LEGO has expanded their 18+ product offerings.
Plus, the LEGO movie already covered this:

Yeah, after last years ER debacle with Target, I don't order online from them anymore. I still do ok when it comes to finding items in-store there, but online is a mess. It seems that ordering online is a mess everywhere...the whole point to guarantee you get something because you pre-ordered it, and don't have to worry about hunting for it, that is no longer a guarantee anymore...
I currently have orders with Amazon, Pulse, and (regrettably) Walmart (only for the Netflix seeker and spoiler box because Pulse sold out before they were available to the general public).
Then there's the trend of pre-ordering from multiple sites because you never know which one will have an item in-stock first, then you have to quickly remember and go an cancel all the other pre-orders when an item comes in...I've only got one item like this currently, but I know people that do it for almost every toy, I'd go crazy trying to keep track of all of that.

For anyone who places orders through Hasbro Pulse, make sure you download the Shopify app. I don't know if Pulse uses them for fulfillment, but all of my orders show up there in an itemized way, and it's much easier to track and update orders through the app than directly from the Pulse website.
I know most everyone has been critical of the $50 fee, but I paid it willingly. I've been able to order pretty much everything I've wanted, and I don't have to worry about stalking retailer sites or b&m. I don't always get things right away -- I passed over a Marvel Legends figure a couple weeks ago that Pulse still hasn't shipped -- but I've basically stopped worrying about the chase entirely.

I've recently heard that anything other than 4+ is a marketing ploy and all toys are made to the 4+ specifications. This was said by the same person who also feels that MOTUO will be done in 6 months.

Got Red Alert from EB Games here in Canada. He's pretty good. I don't have any of his mold mates except for Gigawatt, who was heavily modified.
I think the Autobot logo is really washed out, though. I hope Reprelabels makes a set that fixes that and has some white bits to cover up black spots on the car. Otherwise he's pretty good. I'm not replacing Universe Sideswipe or Streaker, but Universe RA just seemed too much in the repeating mold department, so I'm glad I got one of these guys.

We have news that the exclusive Transformers Kingdom deluxe Red Alert has been found at Canadian retail. Ultra Mad found them at a EB Games in Montreal, Qc. It was priced at 32.99, same as all other kingdom deluxe figures. It comes in a solid case (meaning just that figure multiple times).
If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

Man, Road Rage is looking weirdly more appealing to me than Tracks? Maybe its the red body and orange hood logo that makes things pop more. Hopfully BBTS will pick this up later in the year and it'll become more widely available to other collectors !

So, in an attempt to save six freaking dollars I canceled my Amazon pre-order for the Wave 3 deluxe figures as they were cheaper at Target. Of course, Amazon shipped early and this morning Target said my order has been pushed back. Target just plain sucks when it comes to pre-orders and I will no longer waste my time with them unless it is an exclusive and even then I'll probably have better luck in store. At least today is payday and I was going to Target anyways.

Oh man, that sucks. It might suck even more if I tell you that Amazon price matched Scorponok to Target on my order. Still waiting to see if they match on Tracks.
I do still pre-order with Target, but treat them just like a Walmart pre-order, it is just a back-up plan that I likely won't need.

Ugh
and even worse than that is the fact that two days after I canceled some folks here got their Amazon orders shipped...
