I'll keep this brief, Venin isn't that great and rather floppy. Acid Storm is gold. Great mold, fantastic colors, why aren't you ordering this figure now?

The official Takara Tomy Transformers Legends (AKA Generations)website has updated their figures page to introduce their upcoming releases of Voyager Class Brainstorm and Legends Class Swerve and Tailgate. No full size images are available at this time, but the thumbnails should be more than enough to keep us wanting more.
Swerve and Tailgate both have considerably darker decos in contrast to Hasbro's versions. There are also additional paint apps and tampographed sigils that the US versions do not feature. Not to be left out, Brainstorm sports a far more detailed deco, compared to the US version. Bringing out details not covered by Hasbro's current offering.
We've mirrored the thumbnails below:

His backpack, which controls the gun transformation, is very loose causing nothing to line up right and the plastic, which was soft to begin with, is really soft now.

ah. I keep forgetting how wiggly that backpack rig is. It makes for a really cool gun, but it's a far cry from a stable structure for reliable reproduction. I think blazemaster is my current personal fave (I haven't got swerve or cosmos yet, so I don't have those two to compare.) but I am a bit sad this targetmaster didn't work out. also wish hasbro would use these little gimmicks more or I lived in japan, because I'm a sucker for targetmasters and arms microns

I got my Windblade at roughly $19.00 from my local TRU. These prices are highway robbery.

Resellers, gotta love'em. One of the reasons why one should not shop amazon unless well-informed.

Thank you for that comparison! That's enough to make me preorder from HLJ instead of the Hasbro version. So much more detail, and not that much more expensive. The designer really outdid previous releases with this. I daresay it's even better than the various 3rd Party efforts out there. Sometimes it pays to be patient.

Oh man, that stinks to hear. The clear blue campaign version of that mold is the same way, but I was hoping this one would be a bit better

Fellow fan and Seibertron.com board member cdavid3 has found both Acid Storm (along with his partner Venin) and Gears (and his partner Eclipse at Target in Fremont, CA! And that's not all, he also found Jetfire at his local Toys R Us, also in Fremont!
He included images with each find, which you can see below:
Leader Jetfire at Fremont, CA Toys R Us

And remember, if you have a sighting you want to share, please post it in the sightings forum and if it's breaking news such as this, use sightings@Seibertron.com to let us know right away!

Hmm, my Target didn't appear to have a space for Legends anymore...

There's at least one more reset for the year, especially around Christmas time. I think that's when we'll see these en masse.

Oh, I didn't know that folks hadn't seen Jetfire at retail yet. Saw him last week at Kmart.

Finally! Glad I didn't bite the bullet and order them online. Though, judging by how quickly Shrapnel and Tailgate went, I might have to go online for these guys.

We have been seeing reports that the two new Protectobots Emergency response and Evac Squad had been released in Malaysia. While that is awesome for fans in Malaysia, Amazon.com has your hook up for those who can't hop a plan to Malaysia to pick up this set. Well you can at least order half the set with a new pre-order by Amazon for the Protectobots Emergency Response set which features First Aid from Transformers Prime Deluxe Ratchet, Groove from Transformers Prime Cyberverse Arceeand Streetsmart from Transformers Prime Deluxe Prowl. The set is $32.99 with an October 1 release date. Hopefully the Protectobots Evac Squad will follow suit. Click the image to see the pre-order.

No team covers more ground in less time than the heroes of Protectobots Emergency Response. Wherever danger strikes, the team is there in the blink of an optical sensor. Their primary mission: protect the people of Earth from threats they cannot face alone. And if that gives the team a chance to blast some Decepticons while they're at it, all the better. Roll to the Transformers rescue with the Emergency Response pack! These Protectobot Streetsmart, Groove and First Aid figures are ready to handle whatever threatens innocent bystanders. Your Streetsmart figure converts from robot to helicopter mode, while your Groove figure converts fast from robot to fire truck mode. Your First Aid figure converts to ambulance mode, but he’s still ready for a fight with the swords on his bumper. They’ve all got weapons for combat if the rescue turns bad! Your rescue adventures will never be the same once you have the Emergency Response Pack! Transformers and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

If these had more G1-accurate decos, I'd be all over them since I already have Generations Hot Spot (Inferno redeco) and Blades (Cybertron EZvac redeco). These don't look anything like the G1 characters, so I'll be passing.

Great news; this was the set of the 2 releases I was waiting for.
I already had GDO Hot Spot and Universe2.0 Blades and don't mind the aesthetic change with the Prime molds being used.
Hopefully this looks as good in hand as I expect.
