Dead Metal wrote:The stuff I was referring to was ridicules things like a dress for MP Grimlock, utterly obvious from the title and description that it was a joke. Especially seeing how the threads were pretty popular.

Here are the things Hasbro will never ever do: A reissue of G1 Jetfire, Shockwave, Whirl, Roadbuster, and the deluxe insecticons. Anything else is fair game as far as I am concerned, we just might have to wait a while.
Is that because they were made by different companies and then repainted and sold by Hasbro?
Would explain Whirl's non-human nature compared to other Autobots.
Yup, they werent made by Takara or Tomy and now the rights to those toys are no longer in their hands (they are mostly with Bandai, who also have all the rights to the gobot toys). I wrote a top 5 list about those, I will be releasing it in 3 weeks.

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Ha! Remember when takara announced the apron edition was coming out, haha, what a laugh we all had, that would never happen... wait...

Dead Metal wrote:Oh no, it was like after the toy had already came out. The apron was awesome, and it's actually show accurate, which is why it'S believable.
Dead Metal wrote:The site has changed it's April Fools policy? Awesome, that's an improvement!![]()
God, if I think back at all the awesome April Fools stuff I wanted to post over the years XD

I know what you meant, I was just having a bit of fun. As for the shockwave stuff, if you could pm me with a source for what you said, I would very much appreciate it. And it would surprise me if Radioshoack is the one with the rights. Although, the list, as it is, is more of a history lesson and not really a "where are they now" type of thing.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Anything?
Are you sure?
You have not even seen the fan bots and Windblade was a totally cool bot for being a fan made bot.
Cobotron wrote:Hey! You seemed to have attracted a wild Megatronus. They're hard to find, but boy are they fun when you catch one!

Depends on what you mean by fan made. Sure, fans chose Windblade's gender, alt mode, faction, etc., but IDW and Sarah Stone made the character cool. In a vacuum, without knowing whether the character concept IDW has planned for the "fan built" combiner, I would choose a classic character like Reflector over something fan built any day.

But how can you decide when we haven't seen the combiner yet eh?

Dead Metal wrote:If you do, include that ToyCo the original creators of Shockwave wouldn't resurrecting him since they're kinda proud that one of their only robot toys (they specialized in toy cars at the time) had such a huge impact and actually helped shape such a major franchise. But they've licensed the thing out so many times, that they're not even sure if they even own the rights anymore, or who actually does today. Could be Hasbro, could be Takara, could be Bandai, could be Radioshack etc..
Apparently the rights to Shockwave have been making the rounds like a cheap hooker.

The real question is who really cares if we do or don't?
I don't remember Reflector being of any importance.

Yeah, that must have been weird. He only came out in 86, when he was no longer on the show, and the colors were all wrong.

The war for Cybertron is getting professional. New from Transformers, the OFFICE BOTS series lets you bring the battle to the workplace with the MEMOBOTS and DESKCEPTICONS.
