As Ryan noted a whole month ago, we're at a tipping point--since this post, the recognition of racism across cultural industries like Hollywood and sports has gone mainstream, in areas beyond those that impact Black Americans. A year ago, it was considered nearly impossible that Washington's football team would change their name; now it's a near certainty.
A metaphor you could use for that tipping point is a crashing wave, and some posters are here holding their arms out to try to hold it back. I'm not going to tell you not to waste your time, and I'm not going to feel bad for you when you drown.

Seeing as you failed to actually contribute to the discussion regarding Black Lives Matter as per my direction, have a warning.

i'm well aware you aren't the type to actually look things up and try to find what they actually mean or what people believe, so i'm not gonna try to give you a full-on lecture that'll probably just bounce off you, so i'll just give you the boiled down version: private property =/= personal property

I'm sure the revolutionaries will take all the time in the world to listen to your lecture when they'll drag you out of your house to beat you up and redistribute what you have "too much" among others for "the greater good".
But eh, if your dream is to live under a dictatorship where everyone is equally miserable, feel free to move out to North Korea or Venezuela.
Well you didn't exactly provide any information to back up your statement. You just call him ignorant because he doesn't agree with your point of view. He believes things to be a certain way, and stated so. You said basically "I could lecture you but you wouldn't agree anyway, so I won't say anything just call you ignorant." That doesn't make for a solid argument for any points you might make. And if you think he's ignorant and not worth the effort of a sensible comment, why bother in the first place?Jeddostotle7 wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Jeddostotle7 wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Most Marxists are perfectly fine with the idea that no one should own private property... as long that their own stuff isn't concerned.

lol, i see even my effort to simplify was a waste for someone so committed to willful ignorance

ShadowKatt wrote:K-bat up there could give you a THOUSAND articles, videos, news segments, testimonials, anecdotes, anythng and everything in the world, and would that make you change your mind? I doubt it. Ask yourself this, just for introspection: What evidence COULD be presented to you that actually WOULD make you change your mind and your position? Think really hard about that because it's a very important question. Make a list, and then go looking for it. Try, just try to disprove yourself. If you can't come up with anything it means that your arguements aren't actually arguements, they're faith. And Faith is untouchable. It cannot be reasoned away, logicked to peices, or even argued because faith doesn't need evidence. It only needs belief. And nothing shuts down a conversation faster than realising that you're not longer discussing evidence, but believe.

As I said, before accusing anyone of being a "Nazi", look long and hard into a mirror.

"Nazi" is not as clear cut as "homophobe" or the likes.
First, those who identify themselves as "Nazi" do so in order to "trigger" oversensitive people. The ones who are genuine are rare like a needle in a haystack. Almost like mythical creatures.
Finally, the REAL ones (a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, which controlled Germany from 1933 to 1945 under Adolf Hitler and advocated totalitarian government, territorial expansion, anti-Semitism, and Aryan supremacy, all these leading directly to World War II and the Holocaust.) are gone since at least 70 years.
And please, don't tell me you are not aware that EVERYONE who don't agree 100% with the Left's authoritarian doctrine are labelled as "Nazi". Especially the Jews from Israel. How ironic.
If by "Nazi" you mean people who advocate for race purity, are authoritarians, and use violence to achieve their goals, then you have just described the Far Left. Advocating for segregation, blaming a whole race for the world's problems, the "cultural appropriation" fallacy, and all the riots the Left had done and are still doing.
By your own definition, your Leftist "friends" are "Nazi". So better get started with your punching.
But you won't. Because you'll get punched back. Or worse.
This old classic from the BBC illustrate perfectly the situation that so many leftists are in:
