Toysrus Canada released an image of Titans Return Doublecross yesterday, as an error for a sale they were promoting. We wanted to give you some more info on this sale. It is applicable to all Transformers toys at Toysrus in store and online but the discounts vary between 20%, 25% and 30%. Here are some examples of the current sales (all prices in Canadian dollars):

Platinum Armada of Cyclonus for $64
Masterpiece Bumblebee for $96
Combiner Wars Voyagers for $14
Fortress Maximus for $172
Combiner Wars Collection Packs for $105-$120

For online purchases, there is a promo code: NEWARRIVAL16 (caps, no spaces). It's an additional $10 off orders over $50 (it seems). For instance, fellow Seibertronian Shajaki ordered Computron and it worked. Also of note, previous Platinum's (Year of the Monkey Primal and Planet of Junk Clash) are unaffected by this current sale.

I'm pretty sure Toysrus Canada is seperate from Toysrus US so it could be that the Canada branch is just nicer to their consumers. Correct me if I'm wrong about the seperation though.

You are right, it is seperate. Same owners though (unlike A&W Canada which is entirely independent ownership wise).

Lets rap for a minute: what stores do we REALLY have in Canada? From what I can tell, it seems like a dismal 2: Wal-Mart and TRU.

Zeller's, RIP.
Canadian Tire was awesome at Christmas when I was a kid. Now nothing.
Superstore used to be pretty good. All they get now is 1-steps and Minicons.
Sears and The Bay used to have decent toy sections.

Now, we're lucky to see some discount toys at Winners. And then there's these "Mastermind Toys" popping up like weeds, which only sell education 1-5 crap.

So please, tell me I'm missing something #-o

You're not missing anything Shajaki.

The only worthwhile stores to get TFs are Walmart and TrU. And Walmart is barren most of the time. It's been a while since Winners had anything other than pointless Kreos and Hero Mashers. There IS Archambault in Quebec, but their stock is very limited. But because their stock move so slowly, you can get older stuff there that is sold out everywhere sometimes.

Toys at Sears are no more, Zellers and Target are RIP, and Giant Tigers is random like Winners.

TlDr, the only TRUE source is now TrU. As a québécois, I'm glad that ALL the boxes are trilingual. Quebec now get every single Platinums and MPs. It's at least that.

I second what Kanrabat said, my only realy source is TRU. Walmart will get the figures in too, but they wont keep stock for long and its a very small section. Giant Tiger and Winners is a crap shoot (same as the market 6 stores in the US though). Sears is a barren wasteland for toys.

However, we do have amazon canada, which does have exclusives for us sometimes, and ... Indigo :lol:

Inventory must be getting low. Also, TrU have increased their prices too. 115$ is a "special". Maybe I'll miss out on Computron afterall.

The first waves that come with a "weapon rack".

As for the Minicon "launchers", it's the motorbike one (Fracture) and the tank thing. I skipped on those.

No TC. They only had 2 Starscreams and that's it. I would have preferred TC but seeing Starscream at that price, I had to buy one. Some other guy took the other one.
