There also might be the chance that the character model for the comics was designed after the toy was. Dunno what goes on behind the scenes at the comics as well as I'm probably expected to, but I know it's happened on the TV shows.

And what do you define as "look female"?
Let's see.
Less square/broad shoulders, wider hips, more pronounced thighs, generally curvier/softer body shape...or, you know, HOW THEY APPEARED IN THE GODDAMN COMIC.

I think I've heard this from you before in this thread

And what's wrong with that? Sexy fembots is a staple of the nerd fandom, you know. Since WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back.
Wrong? Nothing. Just telling. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do we have an estimated price for these boxsets? I know there's the ($15x4)+$25=$85 estimate, do we know for sure?

This... is a touchy subject, given the examples you gave.TK415 wrote:The comic advertises/represents the toy, the toy came first, not the other way around. Masterpiece toys are the exception, in these cases the toy tries as hard as possible to look like the media. Most of the time it is the media that works to look like the toy. The media can and does embellish or look different from the toy. G1 Cartoon Optimus sure looked a lot better than his toy (though the toy was pretty nice). Transformers Prime and CW Prime media both look better than their toy counter parts. Comic Megatron looks better than toy Megatron.

Victorion is seen to be $100Considering I haven't paid more than $70 for a complete combiner, this feels like highway robbery, especially with the color scheme as it stands right now. I know there are a lot of new parts, the sword and limbs, but the additional remolding shouldn't really have jacked the price up that much, unless hasbro wants to cover their loss and are not planning on using any of the 'female parts' again; still, seems like a bit much to me.

Um, OUCH! Yeah, no. Is that gonna translate to the G2 pairs?

Each combiner is made of up a legends class at $10, four deluxe class at between $15-17 a piece and a voyager class at $25. Even at the lowest price for a deluxe it comes to $95 for the whole set. So I have no idea what you're complaining about...

You're, mistaking me for someone who is willing to pay these inflated prices. I am not, I waited and have gotten all of my cw figures at at least 15% off with free shipping.
