And slow mo during the Frezy cuts his head in half.
TheMuffin wrote:Definitely more for me. Stuff that just blew by me the first time around I actually caught this time. Like the amount of talking the robots actually do. I swear I don't remember Jazz saying more than two lines the first time I watched it. This time he had a good half page. Freaky. Same for the other bots. And did it seem like you could understand the Decepticons better on the DVD? I actually heard what Starscream said to Megatron this time around. Maybe it was the lack of the bass being so far turned up like it was in the theater. Your folks thoughts on this?
Versa wrote:It's great on DVD for these reasons alone:
- Sit anywhere you want to watch it
- No popcorn crunching
- No little brat kids talking during it
- No texting going on (those bright damn lcd screens annoy!)
- No stupid adults yapping through it
- Relax on the couch and crank it up as loud as you like on your big screen TV
- No Previews beforehand
- Watch it whenever you want!
Yeah a lot of positives to owning it.

I'm wondering if this was Bay's attempt to protest against Paramount for not releasing a Blu-ray version.Michael Bay wrote:Release my movie on all available formats or I won't let you promote any of your other movies

BTW, I'm really happy that there aren't any previews before the menu, but they could have added some trailers in the special features.

There are trailers.
Rise of the Autobots (an extended Chevy commercial)
Ironman (after the credits, first disc)
Plus all of the TF trailers including the teaser.
Beyond that, no. No trailers for other films. But then again, this is a special film. It's the first of it's kind and they went all out for it.
