It's IMDb. You're not supposed to trust what they say while a movie is still in production.

Still, you have to take what they say with a grain of salt. I remember a couple of years ago somebody listed Dave Chapelle as the voice actor for Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3, just to prove the Imdb could be faked out.

Until there's an official announcement, we have no way of knowing who's been cast.

He's been on that list for months. There has been no official report on if Frank got the job or not.

My guess is that they're waiting for the next sh*tstorm to roll around about some crappy decision they get attacked for. Isn't that what they did about Cullen? IIRC, his signing on was announced right after the first wave of leaked images....particularly after Megs.

Well I just hope that Welker uis the voice of Megatron. I've said it before, & I'll say it again: you can't have the original Prime w/out the original Megatron. It would be insulting IMO. I would like to think that he has signed on & is doing the voice of Megatron right now.

Maybe that's Bay's big surprise?

It means nothing. It's still a rumor until it's confirmed by the production crew.

IMDb does all kinds of stupid stuff when a movie is in production. No need to be overly optimistic.

I totally aggree, Frank is an excellent Actor, I hate the way those AHole Producers referred to Frank and Peter as though being a VA was like being a Lephear or something? Nobody looks down on Eddie Murphy or Mike Myers for doing VA's now do they? Plus they make a buttload of money! Here's hoping Peter and Frank get to roll in some of that new TF cash!!! To me, you really can't or it doesn't make any sense to have one and not the other? They go so well together? I wonder if Peter will also voice Ironhide? or Frank any other deceps?

And last time I checked, Hilary Duff is listed for the role of Alyssa Hamilton in the upcoming Clock Tower movie. How cruel would it be if someone listed Ryan Phillipe as the Scissorman?

That's because most of the cast hasn't been confirmed yet.

Perhaps they'll sign Frank. But they said that weeks ago, and we still haven't gotten the official word that he's on.

they should've listed peter cullen as optimus prime

The same way Wikipedia does, people can edit it.

Checked Wikipedia while on my job break & it has Welker listed as a possibility for voicing Megatron. Crikey, now I'm ticked off. who's giving the correct facts here, IMDB or Wikipedia? Bay, the produces should not confuse the facts hoping to build up anticipation over this, say what role(s) Welker has and be done with it.

You're not seeming to understand what we've said since the beginning of this thread. People can modify IMDB and Wikipedia anytime they want. You don't have to have a valid source for anything to change the information. Bay and Co aren't confusing or misdirecting anyone. Stupid people on those two sites are.

how do they get their info? by user submissions, same as with wikipedia, but without the same level of user-led-moderation
so basically i could log into imdb and say taht george w bush has been cast as starscream, and you would get people believing it
