odd... i dont have roadbuster either even though i found one. he had some black paint blemishes on the chest, so i passed. havent seen another since.megatronus wrote:I haven't seen Skybyte at all. Sigh, I'd like that Canada would not be 4 months late over the USA for once. The Windblade wave barely appeared on the shelves recently...
Not as bad ad TF Prime deluxes wave 2, but still.............
Apparently Ryan/Seibertron saw both voyagers in my area around October, but I was out of the country for work... so that sucks.
I just hope Combiner Wars happens alongside restocks of some of the Q4 2014 releases, instead of replacing them entirely.

-Kanrabat- wrote:Now that I have Windblade, I'm debating if I should buy Arcee and Chromia now or risk waiting 5 months for them to show up on my local store shelves.
Buying them from BBTS right now would ammount at CAN26.60$ for each figures, counting shipping and CAN/US $ conversion. If buying from the most expensive local store, TrU, at full price with taxes, it would be 19.55$CAN. Not much of an issue if that wave pull a PRime Deluxe Wave 2 on us, but I'd be pissed if the Arcee wave hit the local stores next month... especially if the figures are on sale.
So, should I give in to impatience and lose money, or should I play the waiting game and risk missing out?

In my experience, every single time i wait, i miss out, and nearly every time i pay extra it pops up on the shelves. all i know is id rather pay an extra £5 now and see it on the shelves than wait, it never show up and you then have to pay an extra £40 after the scalpers have had their wicked way.

Hilarious and sad at the same time. At least his bio was better than Rattrap's which focused more on literal garbage than beast wars.
personally, the only figures i havent seen out of the generations line in any store are:-Kanrabat- wrote:So, should I give in to impatience and lose money, or should I play the waiting game and risk missing out?

I wouldnt cal it shelfwarming until they are still a plenty a wave later. But for now, Windblade is readily available:

I think that's a fair assessment about the wave later thing. I've just noticed several stores in my area with plenty of stuff from that wave, but maybe one or zero windblades and like a bazillion jhiaxuses, etc. it's interesting different areas have a different over abundance of certain toys.

They didnt want to bring that smell of garbage home.
Didn't know these guys were so unpopular:It Is Him wrote:william-james88 wrote:Metro Prime wrote:The stores in my area are still clogged with Rattraps and Tankors. With the bio Hasbro gave Rattrap, it's like they wanted him sell horribly.

"Man, I always wanted a hero that would roll around in the garbage" said no kid ever.
