So, basically what you're saying is, the new policy isn't set in stone? Frankly, I'm not too concerned with box damage, as it's just a cardboard-bubble package. What concerns me is the rare occasion where you get 2 left forearms or the fig is missing a head, or something like that.
If Amiami can be reasoned with in these cases, then it's not so bad.

Why? Amiami's services and prices are tops! If you fear damage from delivery, if it's a superficial box dent, they won't replace her that's for sure. But if the damage is justifiable, then try reasoning with customer service. Also, send a pic to back up your claims.

Two arm assembly ......I don't think they'll replace those. As I previously mentioned, having an Encore set with a headless Mixmaster........it won't fit the requirement of a replacement. Plus the cost of shipping will be on you (so if you live overseas like the USA....the shipping will kill you).

Because it concerns my decision of whether or not to pre-order Takara Legends Arcee from AmiAmi.

They probably got fed-up with all the prissy MISB collectors who couldnt tolerate a slight dent in the packaging. So they punished everyone.
However, if the grief is legitimate, like missassembly or missing parts, then, there's shouldnt be any problem. Especially when paying with Paypal. Paypal cover your ass. They even have a new policy that cover your return costs!
So, go ahead, and buy with confidence!

Has nothing to do with the actual line and could be discussed in any toy thread. Take it to PM. I'm subscribed to this thread to discuss the figures, not an online retailer's return policy. Thanks.

I am surprisingly OK with this.
Hopefully no one makes a "mountain out of a mole hill" pun intended(the pedipalps) the way TFYuki first posed the TT version of her.
?
TT
Anyways...
Does anyone want to get Slipstream?
TT...Tomy Takara.....get your mind out of the gutterthere's more to life done just the female gender's mammary glands.
I thought he meant TransTech which is why I was intrigued... I'm a gay man, so I have no use for boobs.

How did Transtech get involved with Legends?MartianSpyGirl1996 wrote:SKYWARPED_128 wrote:MartianSpyGirl1996 wrote:How is this related to Takara Legends?

We're all guilty with some slight deviations from the main topic.
SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Now that you mention it, it does seem strange. As I understand it, Legends was supposed to be the new United line in Japan, and the TAV/TED lines were supposed for be Japan's equivalent of the RID toy line.
Logically, Adams and the Insecticons should belong in the Legends line.

They should, but releasing them in 2-packs as per the norm was probably a bit harder to accomplish with some figures, especially with the later ones coming without their Mini-Con/Micromaster partners.
Releasing them as singles in a different line with a similar price point was probably the only way out, and the only line was Adventure...

What do you mean? We got the Japanese Generations OP/BB & Megs/SS Legends-Class 2-packs, and got Tailgate and Swerve as a 2-pack in the Legends line.
Why would continuing that trend be so tough? Grouping them together seems to play well in Japan - just look at the Henkei mini-bot 3-packs, or the United Windcharger/Wipeout & Frenzy/Rumble 2-packs.

From my limited experience, amiami is the last to offer preorders, so I dont think we will see them for at least 3 months before the figures are due.
