I actually agree with Ironhidensh - Armada Scavenger is worse than Sideswipe. I've owned both and out of the pair - I still have Sideswipe. He's usually the Armada toy I'm most likely to have a fiddle with every now and then. That awful gimmick with the bike totally wrecked the figure, but I still find the easy transformation fun.

He did point out some glaring stinkers

Wideload is still the worst of the Throttlebots, though. The way the dumper overhang leads into where the "foot" is, means hes just a straight down brick in robot mode with no discernible legs. The other Throttlebots are spared this with those tiny sticks for legs.

I think it would be cool to do a sort of re-compilation of some lists, like a revised top 25 of the best/worst tfs, really try to get some more odd ones that don't necessarily come to mind immediately... like star wars general grievous wheel bike, or giant beast hunter prime, or translucent toffee laser prime, or armada blurr, or foc bruticus/onslaught

aside from Double clutch and Energon Hot shot which i own/owned and this may be my opinion but... i would sadly would have to replace hot shot with from my experiences..... with ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee and as the figure was really finicky and it eventually broke on me after a while. at the waist.... and never bothered getting the black DOTM redeco... personally Energon Hotshot was a fun figure for me..... despite its blockyness

The individual figures are nice, but that combined mode isnt even trying.

Ok, we got some interesting stuff here. To say all movie toys are garbage is not right. I own lots of the movie molds and there are some dang good ones. Heck, some were even released in takara as "masterpiece movie" toys, so yeah. I like them, and just cause we don't like the series doesn't mean we should say the toys are the worst.

Airachnid should have been #1. That toy is the worst I own, and she is the definition of bad. I agree with a fair amount of your list though Will, so I applaud our agreements.

Seems to be the running theme of that line based on the not-road ceasar thing, thew actually has a review of the rescue drill under his worst tf video from like 5 years ago, it's hilarious, and actually gives decent criteria for judging tf's

Referencing the list, there are four toys that I have personal experience with, thanks to family members owning them, since I never owned them myself.

Legends Jazz was pretty disappointing. For the engineering that was put into the figure, you'd think they could've found a way to have his actual grille be his chest and the rear of the car be his legs, as it should be.

Energon Hot Shot... ugh. Of all the Energon Powerlinx Autobots my nephews had, his figure was far and away the worst piece of crap, and pretty much for all the reasons stated in the list.

Wideload... ehh. I don't think I'd rate him the worst G1 figure, but yes, sacrifices were definitely made to keep him at the same price point as Goldbug and the others.

The Armada Side Swipe mold I know from experience with my nephew's Universe Treadshot figure. And that's definitely a worse piece of crap than Hot Shot. The vehicle-mode gimmick comes off as nonsensical to me, and the robot mode looks like something Wreck-Gar might throw together if he was having an off-day.

As for some other horrible toys I have experience with? I'd have to say that in my most recent history, it'd be CW/UW Motormaster and the Dead End mold. I got the UW set last year, and the first time I transformed Motormaster, the waist broke, so I had to replace him with a CW figure. (Wasn't terribly crazy about the "black" on UW Motormaster being brownish, anyway.) As noted oh-so-often, Motormaster is a floppy mess as a torso, and iffy at best in robot mode, though vehicle mode is decent enough. As for Dead End and Wildrider, while they look great in robot mode, and are serviceable as legs, they are garbage as arms, as their legs absolutely refuse to stay connected together in arm mode, causing a lot of floppiness. I never have that issue with Drag Strip or Breakdown, nor with any of the Aerialbots.

Yikes, seems like someone has some serious self loathing nerd rage issues. We're all collectors here. Doesn't matter if we open the toys or keep them boxed. The difference is minuscule and we don't judge one another for it. Chill out and enjoy what you got. That's all there is to it.
