I think when it comes to the Vehicons, they've gained more popularity than expected due to the fans naming them "Steve" and having it snowball from there.
Plus they're the Transformer equivalent of a Storm Trooper, high in numbers, low in firepower, couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.
And they honestly do look good.

Ratchet needed some love here. That toy was amazing, and the fact that the BH edition used 2 Dinobots and Ironman for molding, I really really liked it.

I have that Beast Hunters Ratchet and I love him too. Its a killer sculpt and the base mold has a phenomenal transformation. I really like those side panels in vehicle mode becoming the arms. There is a lot going on in that deluxe. This really is a line with incredible molds.
Also D-Max, I was trying to keep it vague in my quote above:william-james88 wrote:And be sure to check back in 2 weeks for another fiction related one. If you read the comics, you will surely have a blast with it.
But I guess now, the secret is out as to what that list is![]()
So check back in 2 weeks people!

Sorry to spoil the party....my bad man.
But that Ratchet may be the best Ratchet mold ever.

The only competition that mold has (I guess) would be with animated Ratchet. I only have the cybertronian version of animated ratchet and I dont know if it is better than the Prime one or not.![]()

And yet, because you contributed NOTHING to this thread but criticism, you still achieved what you weren't even trying to do.
Well done.
If someone spends hours researching and preparing a thread for people to discuss, actually discuss the topic of the thread, don't chime in just to tear it down and spit all over the work the thread creator did.

Actually what I contributed was several ideas to help enhance Williams creativity when creating future lists. Ive pointed this out to him before and he knows how to take constructive criticism with stride. So my question to you would be this: If he isnt offended by my opinion, why are you trying to be offended oh his behalf ?

I'm not offended. I'm merely stepping in as a staff member to deal with complaints about posts made by YOU.
The one thing I neglected to mention, but did so later on, was if you have those ideas, why not write them yourself?
Come on Rated X, you complain so much on this site, you antagonize, your criticize, well here's your chance. You want to see those ideas of yours posted? Then write them up. Contribute something positive to this site for once.
That's my challenge to you. I'll even sweeten the deal for you. For every two articles you post, I'll remove one of your warnings. Considering you're on your last chance, this will be a great way to get rid of some of those pesky warnings you have hanging over your head.
Put up, or shut up.

Ill accept your challenge. I was under the assumption the "Top 5" was Williams thing but if he doesnt mind me contributing then Im down. As long as my work is credited because I dont do ghostwriting. But saying I havent contributed anything positive to this site is a little harsh. Ive submitted several of my customs to Transtopia section of this site including verbiage accompanying the pictures. Ive also reviewed Hercules in great detail for Yotosan's 3rd party site. And I do plenty of fly swatting in the "unofficial" section...free of charge.![]()
Let me come up with something and Ill shoot you a PM when I got it ready. You know my writing style very well. Expect vintage X.

Very true. Clone troopers is actually a very good comparison. And I personally love emgo's "Gary" best![]()

# 4 -- Beast Hunters Cyberverse Bludgeon.
This may be a very odd choice, but that Shockwave repaint is DA BOMB! It's very well painted and have a very intimidating bot mode. And that headsculpt is spot on. Amazingly, I find his altmode work better for him tham Shockwave. So, why chose him over the iconic Shocky? I think more colors and a less boring face make all the difference.
william-james88 wrote:A few things I wanted to saw in general after reading the comments. I am glad everyone likes the Wheeljack toy as much as me and I find it cool that it is actually based on an actual concept by Lancia. While I use Wheeljack, my compliments are really towards the mold so Deadend is just as valid on this list. It's the general mold that wins the spot.
Noideaforaname wrote:I think aesthetically Prime felt too derivative from previous lines ("Bayverse Animated"), the perceived shift in quality between First Edition and the rest of the line checkered people's view, and Hasbro not carrying over Breakdown was a serious misstep.
