Will Masterpiece Cassettecons fit in G1 Soundwave? I ask because they look to be about the same size in tape mode going by the comparison photos in Ratbat's gallery, but my eyes might be deceiving me or they might be just a hair too big.

On a different subject, has anyone here ever posed a Combiner Wars combiner fighting with Cybertron Supreme-class Starscream or any of the Gigantion characters? Or photographed RTS Legends Optimus and/or Megatron with one of the G1 combiner toys?

On the subject of masterpiece cassette cons fitting into a G1 Soundwave, you should be able to see for yourself if you have a G1 Soundwave and masterpiece cassette cons.

Can someone please help me with being able to watch Revenge of the Fallen? Every time I try to watch it online, the sound quality sucks; and I can't hear what people are saying without putting the phone right to my ear; and then of course I can't see what's going on in the movie if I do that.

use headphones with your phone. or if you have the right kinda leads plug your phone into some larger display (not always as easy as it should be - though some phones have blue tooth connections and can play video on a monitor that way)

Try downloading it in a common file format and if your TV was made in the last few years it would have a USB socket and you can play the movie on the TV via a USB Memory stick. Or go to a yard sale or some other place that sells second hand goods - you are highly likely to find the DVD for next to nothing.

Or check out the movie from the library to watch it if the DVD player was hooked up. The one who helped me with setting up my new TV didn't think I needed a DVD player, so she didn't do it. She should have my ear buds, so I'll send her a text asking her to bring them.

IIRC, the MP Cassettes were designed to be fully compatible each way - so MP Cassettes can fit in G1 Soundwave, and G1 Cassettes can fit in MP Soundwave too. Of course, there's the issue with the MP Cassettes not always fitting perfectly anyway, but theoretically it should work since they were specifically designed to do so.
TL;DR MP Cassettes will fit in G1 Soundwave exactly as well as they fit in MP Soundwave.

I knew about Universe Ravage thanks to TFwiki, it was just the MP cassettes I wasn't sure about. I asked because KOs of MP Ratbat seem to be cheaper and more common than the actual G1 Ratbat on evilBay and thus I have been tempted..

Still wondering if anyone's done CW combiners vs. Supreme Starscream, btw.

I have an idea. There's a thread for things your Transformers can do that you never realized, so maybe we could make this one a things your Transformers can do that you did realize thread. I'll start off with a few my Legends class Bumblebee can turn into a yellow car. My Legends class Optimus Prime can turn into a truck. My Legends class 2015 Sideswipe can turn into a car. My Legends class Starscream can turn into a jet. My Legends class Windblade can turn into a jet. Each one of my two Astrotrains turns into a space shuttle and a train.

I have, multiple occasions. The flash is somewhat easy to cut down, but the result is less than ideal. O well, still better than before.
Plastic covering a screw hole I've never encountered (all screw hole are required to be accessible). However, two toys have a similar problem:

- CW Onslaught: the wheels on the shoulder partially block access to a screw for the in-and-out joint.
- TR Broadside: one of the stickers is placed over a screw hole. It's the one in the back of the carrier mode, for the middle cockpit hinge.

Not that I can recall? I mean as Jelze mentioned, screws and pins have to be accessible from at least one side otherwise they wouldn't be able to actually be assembled; though my Topspin did come out of the box with this little mess over his shoulder pins:


But aside from that (and I probably only remember this one since it was literally less than a week ago), I can't think of any other incidents with troublesome flash or anything of the sort. I'm sure it's happened though, and it just hasn't left enough of an impact on me to recall it later. But hey, that's what pocket-knives are for!

Yeah, and then the sticker covering the nearby hole that one of his Titanmaster pegs is supposed to sit into in robot mode, meaning you have to actually wreck your toy's stickers (if only partially) to transform him all the way. Man, that toy just has an all-round aura of not being properly thought-through...

Here's another one for things my Transformers can do that I did realize. My Vehicon can turn into a car. As anyone who looks at my profile can see, he's not my favorite Transformer. He's just the only one who has a name on the list of titles. He is a very cool easy to transform into a car Transformer though. At least that's the way it is with Legends class Vehicon. I don't know about the bigger Vehicons.

I don't own the toy, but I imagine that better planning how the sticker was cut would probably have helped. I personally don't mind, stickers, usually.. Except for the greebling stickers on most of the TFTM toys, because those just look like afterthoughts that don't really go with the design.

My Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime had mold flash on the back of one of his gun handles. And my Cybertron Voyager Starscream.. I think it was his pelvis screw, but might have been a different one.. Anyway, it had somehow gotten covered by plastic. Like the plastic had wound up melting over it or something, I don't know. But boy did it make disassembly for kitbashing his guns to work a pain.

It's more annoying from an aesthetic standpoint, since excessive bits of flaky plastic can mess with the intended look of the toy. Though if there's enough flash, or in a problematic spot, it can actually cause interference with transformation - like if a peg has too much flash on it, and because of that might be unable to fit in the corresponding hole for transformation.

It's actually not a hugely common issue in Transformers as far as I'm aware, but when it does occur it's often noticeable and annoying enough to warrant a mention.

Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder covers a lot more than just Asperger's, but I see what you mean

The best way I have found to explain flash is with this picture:



See that little nub of plastic on the bottom of the plastic cup? That is flash. Its basically an annoying little burr that makes a rough edge. It annoys people because people often need to clip it off or sand it down.

If you have plastic army men from the dollar store a lot of them are made with injection molding (and not much QC) so they often have a lot of flash "burrs".

Thank you kindly. That explains what it is clearly. Someone should've taken a picture a lot sooner. I've never had that in a Transformer that I bought or that someone gave to me as a gift. Can someone please do a Google search and put in a certain Transformer's name and then give me the link to it please? I'd do it myself, but it screws up my list of stuff to Google when I do that. I found that if I type in TlFwiki.net, it won't put in a display of letters when I put in acronyms; but if I put in a Transformer's name and do it, I can do it. I've done it with Chromedome and Vehicon.

Anyone ever considered making a probe-and-drogue accessory for Octane?

I had a dream where there was a vending machine that sold Transformers, and I saw one in the machine, but I couldn't find the right button to push to get the one I wanted, and it was in the machine. I wish they'd make that a reality for people like me who find it hard to get to a store that sells Transformers and basically put vending machines everywhere. They could stock like several voyager class ones in them or several deluxe class Transformers in them, and you wouldn't have to press a button because I've seen vending machines where you can just open a door and pull the item out.

How come we can't write in our own weapon and have to choose from a list? I finally thought of one; but since this is a Transformers board and Transformers comics aren't put out by DC Comics, I couldn't put Green Lantern power ring. If that weapon existed in the fantasy universe of the Transformers, the Decepticons wouldn't stand a chance against one of those.

I don't have army men. I was wrong about Dollar General having those because they don't. The closest they have are army soldiers that are about the size of G. I. Joe, but they're not called G.I. Joe and don't have that name anywhere to affiliate themselves with the G.I. Joe franchise. I liked playing with army men when my brother got me those, but I've long since lost interest in them.

Aside from Megatron, are there any Legends class Transformers that aren't priced like scout class Transformers and are about the same size?

I found another old Transformer that I didn't know I still had. I think it's a Legends class Blackout. It's a beige colored or light brown helicopter. I had quit playing with him because I thought he was too loose. I don't mean that parts fall off him too easily. I mean that when he's in robot mode, his tail won't stay up. Has anyone else had that problem? If so, can you give me any ideas about what I can do please?
