As far as I can recall, theyre actually pretty dang rare. Airachnid is a good example, but beyond that... there's the boat fembot from Cybertron, Thunderblast I think? Takara repainted Arcee into Nightbird Shadow, who was marketed as a decepticon I think but based on the not-really-a-transformer character Nightbird from the old 'toon.
Uhh... Takara's combiner Megatronia and her constituent parts? They're barely characters but rather nice toys.
Thats literally all I can think of though! No doubt I've missed some but man, I'd never even considered how few female cons there were.
Those are probably the support struts for his carrier mode (to keep it from wobbling/tipping over). I guess they do look a bit like landing gear but they're meant to be used with the carrier mode, not the jet.Jason5billion wrote:I tried guessing about Broadside's jet mode based on the way the G1 version transformed and found what looked like landing gears faced up.
"Transforming figures". I haven't ever really gotten burned out myself, but I can see how one would I suppose. Collecting can get pretty tiring, especially if you aren't in a position to keep up with everything (i.e. if you have a lifeJason5billion wrote:Does anyone ever get burned out when buying those Transformers or whatever you call those figures if you include Machine Robo? I wish there was a word that could apply to all those kinds of toys.

Jason5billion wrote:Has anyone ever been disrespected while buying Transformers in a store? When I was waiting in line to pay for a bunch of Tiny Turbo changers, a girl behind me asked if I was buying them for a kid and acted surprised when I told her no.
All I had to see was the opening card and I immediately knew this would be my new favorite thing in the all of ever. Thank you so muchEmerje wrote:Oh, and I found you some more female Decepticons.![]()
These three links might provide some insight if you were curious about which modes are most common (down to individual model for the vehicular ones).Jason5billion wrote:Does anyone know what the most common alt mode Hasbro's got for Transformers? If I were to guess, I'd say that cars are probably the most common alternate mode even though they range from a number of things from beasts to cities and even a toaster.
What used to be the "Scout" class is now best approximated by what's currently called "Legends" class. (Which is different from the other size-class that used to be called "Legends" and is now termed "Legion". Confusing enough for you?) Things like Titans Return Bumblebee, Brawn, Gnaw, and the modern T30/CW/TR Insecticon updates all fall under that new Legends class, and it's a size-class that has some quite good figures if I say so myself!Jason5billion wrote:Are there any plans to release more scout class Transformers? It looks like they have some now, but they're all one steps, and I don't want to waste ten dollars for a one step Transformer.

Jason5billion wrote:That Micro Master Defensor set that I'm wanting is a little expensive, but I believe I could swing it.
Jason5billion wrote:I already looked on eBay and couldn't find it.
Jason5billion wrote:I just want to update the question about how many Transformers can be transformed with one hand. Ones sold by themselves are what I meant, so that should leave out all target masters and Headmasters; and I imagine people could do it with a G1 Topspin or Twin Twist.
