Well SkyLynx looks pretty disappointing though. I'm definitely not planning on getting him.

So that Sky Reign can be armed with a big sword?Crosscheck wrote:Has anyone figured out why Sky Lynx's swords combine?

Oh, that? It's to let them become part of Sky Lynx's tail.Crosscheck wrote:Yeah, but that isn't what I am talking about. There is a tab that connects the swords side-by-side.

Crosscheck wrote:My Bruticus has a paint imperfection on his right eye. It makes it look like he was shot in the face. The question is, do I scrape the paint off and repaint the eyes to match, paint the eye a darker color and draw little cracks on it to look like it was damaged but he just keeps going because he is Bruticus, or repaint the eyes but draw a targeting reticle on there. Because it kinda looks cool with the asymmetry. Another option is to paint the eye yellow or green and paint a targeting reticle on it.
Well, it looks like a bullet hole in armor, which shouldn't be the case for the eye crystals. Which is why I want to repaint it, but I don't really want to just repaint it and forget the fact that he was asymmetrical.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Crosscheck wrote:My Bruticus has a paint imperfection on his right eye. Just leave it as is. Battle damaged Bruticus!

Yeah, but that isn't what I am talking about. There is a tab that connects the swords side-by-side. I suppose it would be to have them only use one 5mm hole somewhere, but there isn't any utility beyond that. The big sword is great for combiner mode, though. I am debating on if I am going to get his limbs. I really wish they had included something other than the 3rd/4th/5th! use of the Dead End mold. ANYTHING. I would have taken Brawl as Warpath over another use of that same mold.
Works for me! Though I actually have him with his G1 rifle and the right eye lined up. Shockwave is too heavy to hold out as if Bruticus is aiming him, so I have him up as if forced up by recoil (and when we are talking about Shockwave, recoil is a sure thing). I will scrap the paint off and get going on repainting tomorrow!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Crosscheck wrote:Well, it looks like a bullet hole in armor, which shouldn't be the case for the eye crystals. Then I cast a vote for the Perceptor-styled sniper eye. Give Bruticus some aiming capacity to go with Shockwave

We expect pictures! And I like to have the targetmaster 6th-members held as recoils too. Adds some extra action flavor to them

I will take some before and after photos. Unfortunately holding the weapon figures like there is recoil is about the only way they don't flop down. And that is lame. I have Superion's rifle and Powerglide combined and held between both arms, but Bruticus can't really do that since Shockwave is so short.
What I am suddenly reminded of is the fact I really wish there was a Legend's class figure that transforms into a melee weapon. Is it too much to ask for an axe or sword? And I still wish Groove could have worked as a riot shield. Oh well.

omega666 wrote:Terrible. I could not watch these reviews. I had to skip all over his videos. He's all over the place "The worse paint aps out of the entire lot." and the very next thing he says, "Definitely surprisingly great!" Mashes Trailbreaker into truck mode and can't figure out why it doesn't work, "Apparently you have to be subtle with it". Ugh. He is WAY too generous with his scores for these crappy looking figures. 8's and 9's?!
