Someone is happy about toys at a toy convention how dare he!
That's John Warden, he designed the toy. I think he gets to be happy about it.

Well maybe not if you ask certain members, but.....

I don't normally complain about name changes, but for christ's SAKE Hasbro...

What else are they supposed to do?
Toy laws make it so they can't use Hell or Kill?
They don't, actually, I could go in a Toys R Us right now and buy a Hellraiser collectible figure or some other stuff not really meant for a young audience, but Hasbro chooses to retain non-offensive language on their products aimed at kids.

You do realize that Victory is a part of G1, right? And not "modern" g1, 80s G1. When the cartoon was cancelled in America, Japan said "yeah we're gonna keep going" and they did, for three more seasons.
As for Liokaiser himself, I can understand some of the complaints against him. A lot of the complaints against him, really. I wish they had at least diversified and used the Computicon Nosecone mold for one of the tanks as well but that was almost certainly not available to them when they were designing this. The colors are less than ideal. We've seen these molds so many times just in the last two years that yes, it is getting tiring to see them continually rebranded as ALL NEW CHARACTERS. Sky Lynx in particular is not a great choice for Deathsaurus, but short of creating either an all new Deathsaurus mold or all new molds for the guys who are supposed to be the torso, both of which were presumably outside the budget allotted for this set, the alternative was a different redeco. I can see where they tried on this set, I wish they could have done more, I know why they didn't, and I will be waiting to see if Takara touches him or not. I may just go 3P on this one.
