I said this exact thing a couple of pages back. Glad we're on the same page.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Hoping HasTak creates a big trailer that breaks apart into pieces. that can plug into the CW ports on the UM toy to form a bigger armored up robot. Think a Trailer is a good idea to include. As it can get repurposed later for Motormaster and Optimus.
AGREED, Damn it! But only if the above mentioned idea were a thing. It would make sense as a leader class.MightyMagnus78 wrote:
I actually really like that.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Caelus wrote:Not owning the CW Optimus mold to see for myself, I was wondering - would it be possible to retool and repaint the mold in such away that he looks like a white repaint of Prime in truck mode, but looks like his classic red and blue armored-up form in robot mode? Clearly his robot-mode chest can be remolded into just about anything.
I'd prefer a trailer that turns into armor, of course, but it just occurred to me that they might be doing it the other way around - Magnus's smaller form looks like Ultra Magnus, and then his combined form has the white Optimus Prime head.

I wouldn't loose all hope. Since the Fan Built Combiner is coming out in 2016 it isn't unreasonable to assume we'll continue to get combiners past Hasbro's use of the Combiner Wars label. Now that Hasbro has established a new combining system and they've proven their popularity I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least one new set every year for a while.

How do we know that this new combiner system is popular? Are there any sales figures in yet and does Hasbro share that info? I would say we'd have to wait for the first quarter 2015 stock report for any dom had their pre-orders pushed back to February and BBTS has theirs listed for March.
The fact that the "in stocks" sold out over night on Amazon is a good indication.
That's tough to say since we don't know how much stock Amazon had in the first place? If they had only 10 figures each (gross exaggeration I know) those would definitely sell out.
A single, and relatively small toy line like Generations is probably not going to make much of an impact on a stock report. The local Walmarts finished their resets and the AOE section is still bigger than the Generations section (with no RID in sight).
I'm simply calling it popular based on the fan reaction. It's been incredibly positive for a line that has a way of dividing fans and the "gotta catch 'em all!" mentality of CW is a sure way to sell figures. From what I've heard people are experiencing some really fast sellouts when finding these in stores. Plus it sounds like Hasbro is giving this line an unprecedented international release, even ahead of North America so they're certainly aware of the line's potential to be big.
I just wish I could find them in stores already. Walmart probably wont get wave one and won't get anything new until April like last year. Target doesn't stock enough to keep the anything on the shelf this time of year. Kmart is Kmart.

No you do not! You are The MightyMagnus, don't buy into these white Prime repaints. You are like me, you want a Magnus that combines with his trailer, anything else is blasphemy!

Has anyone found CW Voyagers at retail yet?
or only online.
East Coast are you wit me?
They've hit Texas. Silverbolt is fantastic. He's superior to CW Prime.
Must be a different part of TX, all my stores have peg warmed Tankor, the rodent, and TF4 one step changers

I'm more partial to this redeco, myself (the Optimus toy, specifically; not the limb-bots):robotmel wrote:

The problem with it being Nova is that the Club is already doing a Nova toy, which they wouldn't have been allowed to do if Hasbro had upcoming plans for one of their own.Gearslide wrote:That White head with Black Faceplate and Blue eyes Ultra Prime redeco resembles Nova Prime, not Ultra Magnus' inner Not-Prime Design (Which has a White head with Blue Faceplate and Yellow eyes)
Wouldn't surprise me with all the alternate History happening in IDW if this is somehow Nova Prime or another old Prime.
