it seems the way the html code of the boards works it "clipped" off the ')' from the URL.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
The story goes that Drag Strip was part of the first wave of Combiner Wars limb toys and was needed by Hasbro to fully illustrate the Ultra Prime toy's ability to combine with any of the Combiner Wars limb toys, since the second wave toys wouldn't be out yet.OptimusPrimeval wrote:I wonder if there's a story reason for Ultra Prime having Drag Strip for an arm...

Compare Menasor to Megatron:

Dunno. Was going by the pics on BWTF, which include a scan of the cardback. Ben didn't post a scan of the instructions.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The weapon mode is, however, not advertised on the packaging.
Is it in the instructions?

No, the instructions do not have a weapon mode shown. If no weapon mode was intended, then why those pegs on the butt of insect mode? Why the gun barrel looking fists? (Not trying to pick a fight. Just trying to infer the designer's intent.) I think this was clearly the intent in the design, even if not marketed that way. Or, perhaps this is an Easter Egg? Doesn't Hasbro have a pattern of providing us Easter Eggs (like the alternate heads on instructions)?
