Why Hasbro can't make a decent chest piece decal is so

Because printing the tiny label sheet on clear plastic instead of opaque white made too much sense.

BTW, I'm half-way tru applying the reprolabels on CW Geewun Megs. Some labels are a pain, especially the tiny stickers that make the silver stripes on the cannon. Some make no sense like the black covers for the already black side-skirt. However, most of them kick ass. The chest piece is perfect, the "energon lights" are GLOWING and the inner details of the arms are fantastic!

Only the tank mode labels left to apply... All 3 billions of them.

Well, I honestly don't think someone said "hey let's make this stickers useless!" I think it was just an error. It's not like they haven't made clear stickers before.

The exacto came in handy on the tiny stickers. Looks crazy good though right?! And, "ah, yesss" (BW Megatron FTLOL) all of the blast panel stickers, you just get into rhythm with them. I like the "low visibility" Autobot/Decepticon sigil option, goes good with the rest of the tank body stickers. And yeah, why the black skirt stickers? To take away the detailing?! Left them off.

Whelp. 3rd party Megatron/Apollyon arrives tomorrow. The question now becomes: how much do I really like CW Megatron?

I loved seeing the pics, and when I finally got him in hand, I thought he was great. Then I looked at him for a while, and the cannon really got to me. I hate it, I really do. It's such a long, thin, puny thing. An insult to fusion cannons everywhere. It kinda ruins the figure for me.

So do I keep him? I kinda want to sell him, but I'm afraid I may regret it later....

I'd hold off. It won't hurt to hold on to him, and if you still don't want him in a couple years he might be worth more

Look at him as his own thing. Better yet, buy the Reprolabels and GEEWUN him up to the max. Sure, his cannon is small, compared to the original. But take him as a DIFFERENT character. Like the original G1 Megatron is not really the Megatron of the cartoon. I finished applying Meg's Repros and lemme tell you, he's worth the 80$+ total I paid for.

One thing is sure. If you sell him off, you'll regret it forever because I'm sure the G1 version of CW Leader Megatron will be worth a fortune down the line... and he'll be impossible to buy back at a reasonable price anymore.

And remember, it's an official release. In years down the road that will matter more to certain collectors.

Keep both and use them each as different Megatrons. One could even be the Straxus-made Megatron clone.

I agree with holding on to him. Apollyon will be my "Decepticon" Megatron while CW is my "Autobot" Megatron. Those ReproLabels make him look awesome, and he's cool for what he is. I actually think I'm gonna pass on the add-on kits that are coming out too (both are in my pre-order queue currently). I think it's the best tank Megatron we've had so far, but that's just me.

I took the robot mode one with daylight coming in the window behind me so it's pretty true to color. Obviously downscaled to fit size limits. I was really surprised actually. And the "low-visibility" sigils (re: grayscale) for tank mode are super sweet

Still haven't seen any CW Leader toys for G1 and Armada Megatron in stores yet. Thankfully I ordered them online. Every walmart I keep visiting Has a peg full of CW wave 2 deluxes. Haven't seen any CW wave Two Voyagers in stores yet.

Every times I go to my local TrU, if there is any leaders, it's always a single Armada Megatron.
I consider myself really lucky that a dedicated TrU clerk was willing to hunt down a CW Leader G1 Megs from the backstore for me!
And he's so damn SEXY with his Reprolabels on!
