Sabrblade wrote:It's an okay figure. A little odd in its proportions, but overall not bad.Overcracker wrote:Perceptor1996 wrote:1 Prime has only had 1 other deluxe figure and it was terrible.
Bay Movie Prime had one, and it was o.k.
Armada Prime had one and was great.
Energon had 1 and it was terrible.
Animated had 2. one was o.k, the other was impossible to get and had the black goo all over him. But the mold was pretty good.
I think that's all of them outside of Cyberverse and 2015 R.I.D.
Someone will no doubt correct me if I missed one.
Well you did miss the First Edition one and the video game ones. I would also consider a lot of those better then just ok.
This is true,
WFC less than stellar. FOC, was just o.k.
Ahh Never owned the SDCC deluxe prime prime. Was it good?
RID15 Warrior class Optimus is trash. Or at least, the normal one is. I never got the retooled winged one.
Cyberverse Deluxe Optimus is okay. Never got any of the Warrior class versions.
EarthSpark Deluxe Optimus is also okay. Never got the Warrior class version either.
Hi Transformer fans,
As promised, here’s a look at the upcoming core class figures: Geocron and Galvatron!
Geocron is a redeco of our previous Bouldercrash figure but with a new head that is straight out of the JG1 Headmasters episode featuring the inhabitants of planet Daira.
Galvatron is a redeco as well; one that I think a lot of folks were waiting for after we announced the Energon Megatron. We followed the anime for the coloring which is why he has the silver crown and slightly blue face.
Please have a look at the photos attached and I made sure to snap a pic of them next to their counterparts.
Thanks for popping by,
-Evan
On to the Voyagers!! I’ll start with this dashing package refresh of Legacy United Metalhawk! But, whats this, I was able to switch colors to the more vibrant toy pretender shell!?!?
So as you all know this fierce hunk was a partial tooling off of the Cyclonus mold and the homey naveskoorb got to work on the development of this dude. For those of you who don’t know, our Evan Brooks is somewhat of a Japanese guru when it comes to TF. His knowledge and passion towards the brand is a blessing to us all!
Now I know what yall gonna say, that gold doesn’t match the og toy! Egads and gadzooks man Markclonus screwed us again!! honestly molded plastic gold is kind of a headache in production and there is only a few pantone golds I know are solid in terms of color pop and longevity. So much like alot of things on the brand, I turn to my gut to guide the way! Also, since we usually don’t get to change colors on a package refresh of an item, I had to keep it really close to the first release, but I thought it was important for a variant release of this guy! Great figure!
To note, all the colors here are accurate and I don’t have in hand samples unfortunately to do a posed out posting.
But what I can promise you is this, another voyager reveal tomorrow!!! hooray!
YESSSSSSSSS. That deco on Flame is sick.Mkall wrote:Xaaron AND Flame? oh yeah!

Emerje wrote:Man, all of this new stuff have me really excited. Well, a little less excited about the second "toy colors" Metal Hawk just being "the same but brighter because the shell is brighter". Hopefully the gold really is darker.
So looking at Xaaron, I really have to wonder if he's a pre-tool of our upcoming Deluxe Megatron in Studio Series in December. Him and Megatron have similar chests in the comic and Megatron does typically have a tank mode, plus I bet you can peg that canon to the forearm, it would be a smart reuse. We still don't know what the "HM" in "HM Megatron" means (can't be High Moon, we already got that).
Looking forward to seeing how many repaints of Prime we end up getting. Does he have a trailer hitch, I can't tell? Shame his hands appear to be molded to the wrist and painted blue. I hope the back of the box is the accurate colors he mentioned, I really don't like the speckled gray, I want them to use the good silver plastic on him.

Rtron wrote:There was a deluxe Megatron too? Because the listing I remember for next year's Studio Series was a Leader.
As for Prime, Mark said in his post that he has "the ability to hitch to multiple trailers", so I'm guessing it's got the hitch.
He also said the toy in the pictures is a test shot and colors may vary, that they were trying to get as close as possible to the g1 toy's colors, so there's hope there.

I guess I'm paying leader class price for Buzzsaw. On the other hand maybe this version of Soundy won't yellow.
Flame and Xaaron are kinda what I expected TBH. I dunno why. I'll nab 'em.
