Like, seriously. It would largely be a matter of taking the existing design and giving it a more complete articulation scheme. The Unicron Trilogy didn't have the extreme liberties taken by the character models that G1 did, and the Energon Powerlinx combinations already have passable articulation as-is so there isn't the hurdle of trying to reconcile articulation into a design originally not designed with any. If they can do PotP Battletrap, they can do MP Powerlinxers.Sabrblade wrote:At least the existing Energon toys and cartoon models would give them a base to work from.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Given the gimmick of Energon, having to design an entire MP line with the ability to interlink in two distinct ways would also be quite a challenge.
AllNewSuperRobot wrote:True. But they haven’t done anything like that on a Masterpiece level before.
Only because they haven't yet done the Multiforce as MPs.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:True. But they haven’t done anything like that on a Masterpiece level before.

TulioDude wrote:If they were to create an Unicron Trilogy Masterpiece line, one of way they could do it is to make it,its own scale, just like they did with Beast Wars,so this way the could do the whole cast.
For example, the truck mode of any of the UT Optimus's forms doesn't need to be as tall and large as any of the previous Optimus we had.
Day 97 of waiting for Transformers Armada Masterpiece news.
His size was inconsistent in the cartoon, and he was never as big as in the PS2 game. And I'm pretty sure they'd go with the toy size for the sake of the Burning Megatron combo.-Kanrabat- wrote:Unless some crazy mass-shifting was involved, TW was like a City Bot in Armada. In the cartoon and the PS2 game.
Big enough that the MP-sized Titan class Devastator can stand up inside its shuttle mode.-Kanrabat- wrote:Speaking of inconsistent scale, I wonder how big MP Astrotrain should be in order to fit a whole deception army inside his vehicle modes?

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Cyclonus: Master Galvatron, you can come inside me.
Galvatron: Perfect, my minion, I'll make myself comfortable inside you.
Cyclonus: Why that human is blushing?
Galvatron: Why should we care about the inferior species quirks? Now transform already!

Of course if they do that, then MP Huffer will have to come with a smol Hoist.
