Man, I LOVE seeing the process. It's like peaking behind a secret curtain to where the Wizard of Oz is hiding...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

I was afraid they wouldn't have access to the 3d models used in the films before Bumblebee, glad to know that it isn't the case!

i enjoyed that read. They also did Jolt, and I believe it was our very first look at his ILM model used in the movie. I'm so glad they did this for us.

Fingers crossed they show them on Tuesday, but I bet all that event is going to show is the Robosen bumblebee.

Thank you!
Unfortunately for the fan first, Sam Smith mentioned on Instagram that it would be Legacy reveals and not Studio Series. Using the reveals of the BB wave as a basis we could see them revealed in May, but reveals for Bayverse SS are so inconsistent it’s hard to tell.
So excited to see that wave though, hopefully we don’t have to wait too long!

Confirmation that N.E.S.T. Bumblebee was indeed originally meant to be a Universal Studios figure:

I was shocked to go into one of the bigger Walmarts in my area, and they just got in a new shipment of Grinder/Slag. They had 3 of each. I wonder if a few cases got lost or if Hasbro is sending out new cases to fill orders?

Same. I'm guessing these were a late arrival from a cargo ship. Never seen either of these in this particular store before. Also the second time I've seen a single Leader Starscream.

I too have been seeing Grindor where I didn't before (not Slag, that figure still has demand where I am so I'm sure it was bought up). One Studio Series figure I have never seen though is BB Movie Starscream. Looking at images posted by US fans, he never seemed abundant. Let me know if that wasn't the case.

I wouldn't have had a problem finding SS if I had wanted one.

I'm patiently awaiting the reveal of SS ROTF Breakaway. Given they've nailed down the Lockheed Martin licence for Starscream he has to be an F-35 again, right? I really don't want another Nitro Zeus or Blitzwing made-up jetmode.

Transformers Studio Series Core Class Spike Found in US
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
While this toy was released month ago elsewhere in the world, Studio Series core class Spike has now been found in the US. Specifically, the toy was found in a Target in South Carolina and we have a review below so you can see if this is the toy for you. Fun fact, the toy does make it rather easy to disassemble the head component and you can put anything in the helmet, as the image below from Instagram shows us.
While not all of 2022 wave 2 of Studio Series comes out at the same time at retail, the rest of the wave consists of deluxe BB Arcee and BB Ironhide, voyager Junkyard and leader Sludge.
The sighting comes from Primeboss who posted it here.

When I saw all that yellow through the dome in the thumbnail, for just a few seconds, I actually thought some error had made Spike blonde, giving us a Marvel-accurate Spike Witwicky head. Now that one potential easy repaint will probably get me to army-build even more with that exo-suit than I was already planning. Here's hoping it peg-warms as bad as Shockwave and Ravage have in most of my local WalMarts.

Only thing about it is that Marvel Spike never had an exosuit. However, if they replaced the exosuit with a headmaster body, which in turn can actually turn into Cerebros's head, that would be neat. Even if that head can't actually attach to a body. Or if they want to take liberties, have the body turn straight into Fort Max's head. I think it would be small enough to fit a Commander Class Marvel version of Maximus. And of course Zarak and Scorponok wouldn't be far behind. A pipe dream, I know.Bumblevivisector wrote:When I saw all that yellow through the dome in the thumbnail, for just a few seconds, I actually thought some error had made Spike blonde, giving us a Marvel-accurate Spike Witwicky head.

That doesn't surprise me. The SS cores are of two characters that spent a total of 15 seconds on the screen and only those familiar with G1 would even be aware of.
