I will make sure to keep the receipt this time.
Anyways, this toy has great engineering which is why it pains me so much that they went all cheap with his qc. So much pegging relies on pressure or friction and for a symetrical toy, the two sides act so differently, its riving me a bit nuts. Love that airplane mode though, very smart how they actually gave him landing gear. I also wish that turret would peg in somewhere in any mode (if it does, let me know!)

Here is to hoping they fix the many issues when Blitzwing comes out.

I dont think its the qc but instead the method of tabs in this case. A lot of it is friction based and in relation to how the plastic can bend a bit. Its so dependent on how pieces are placed that QC can only go so far. Its like MP Track's chest cliping to his back. Its better QC than RID Sideswipe, but its such a bad design and engineering choice that its can never be perfect. The chest will never be as secure as a scneraio where there would be more hinge points (for example, MP Hot Rodimus fixed that issue by having 3 very tight tab areas). So I think its a design issue, which is too bad since it means Blitzwing wont catch a break again.
Kurona wrote:I mean... it's just one issue, right? The robot's still fine and it just means there's a few things on the alt modes that don't stay pegged in perfectly.

Its the whole toy actually. There arent enough secure tabs. tucking the feet in requires you to bend the plastic (really odd choice), the treads on his shoulders dont tab anywhere so they will flop around if you move him. the wings in the back dont tab anywhere either, and they dont tab on the tank mode, which is super odd since it looked like they did initially. Or at least it would make sense that they do. It actually reminds me a lot of Gen Blitzwing in terms of the tabs not being strong or based on flimsy friction. The shoulders joints are fine though. Also, of all the modes, its the airplane that has the tightest connections with no pieces ever being loose.

Ironhidensh wrote:Really? The airplane mold Holds well for you? Interesting. On mine, it's the tank mold.
