Latest hauls:


A national chain of stores that sell stuff like hair products, beauty products, candy, common pharmaceutical stuff, and a random selection of toys (Kruidvat), has been selling these Hero Mashers for dirt cheap, some for €4,99, and some for half that (star wars). They don't have many though, they're leftovers, but I did find 1 OP and 1 Megs, so I grabbed those immediately. Yellow stickers were 50% off, so got those as well. The rest is just for fun. My boy will inherit these in a year or so.


I had this set minus Brainstorm in a lot with Skyshadow and Alpha Trion and Breakaway and 4 small Titanmasters, and sold off Sentinel Prime. I have someone interested in Windblade too, and selling those two made me enough cash to buy the entire set brand new from Kapow's sale. So yay for Brainstorm!

And this was from a secondhand haul. Blaster is brand new, but I also bought a Takara version, so will probably sell this one again after comparing them. OP was relatively cheap, and those Legend class guys are just a lot of fun to have along with the T.R. legends. And a bonus Brawl and Cyclonus! I'll use the Grand Galvatron Cyclonus as the combiner body, and this nice purple one can pose with T.R. Scourge and Galvatron

All right! I now "completed" my TR vs G1 Headmasters display with G1 Hardhead and G1 Mindwipe! Plus TR Mindwipe that I got back from my local geek store. I gave TR Cyclonus for it and the store owner didn't mind a 1 for 1 trade in that particular case. He better be because I was spending 275$CAN total for that last pair of G1 headmasters. To help pay for these I sold my CW Superion via classified for 100$CAN and I gave CW Bruticus plus a box of random non-TF figures for 100$. So I only had to pay 75$CAN from my own pocket. Not to shabby too have rare toys.



Still, I made a HUGE mistake with Hardhead. I had trouble opening Hardhead's chest panel to see his stats but it was hard to open. I forced it... and broke off half of the hinge.
I had to super-glue it back on and then shave some plastic off the tabs so that it's dont lock that tightly. I succeed the repairs! Now the chest-stats panel open smoothly and the break is only apparent on the inside. I didn't rage because it's entirely my fault. I'm relieved because it could have been much, much worse.


These red dots on the repaired hinge is actually my dried-up blood! I did cut myself a tiny bit in the repairing process...

Anyway, those two look great with their TR updates and those G1s are FANTASTIC figures on their own.



That display was expensive as BALLS to make, but I'm very glad that I did because it's FANTASTIC. I consider this an accomplishment even.

The guy who sent me Cyclonus missed an axe that was ported into his back from one of the limbs he used, so I have an extra weapon for Brawn here
Has anyone noticed his card has "GNAW" on the back? I'll have to check the stats from my Gnaw card to see if only the name was misprinted, or the entire backside. The front has the Brawn art on it.

I actually didn't really want this OP, but he was reasonably priced ar €30,- so I thought why not.

I'd love that black and gold Primitive Prime though, but at €110,- that's a hell of a lot more I'm willing to give for a repaint with a skateramp thingy. Plus, it's a promotional item for a brand, they should discount the thing for branding damnit!

Forgot another haul that I got today.

Imported straight from the UK, I got myself a pair of Movie Fracture!
Not a bad deal at 41$CAN and some change each, sealed and shipped to Canada from the UK... In 3 days! Especially when that mold (Classic Mirage, Dragstrip, and Fracture) go for minimum 40$ PLUS shipping... loose!



Why two? To soak up the shipping cost a bit. I wanted her over mirage for... reasons. Like how it's a COMPLETE COINSIDENCE how similar she is to a certain Gobots, Crasher.



She's a bit floppy and I even had to tighten up some screws. I'll even have to Pledge some of her balljoints. Not perfect, but still a great updated Gobot anyway. That mold is indeed very feminine looking and is perfect for Crasher. Too bad Reprolabels never thought of making a set for her because I would have like to make her perfect. Oh well. Still a great toy and a great design. I'm also amazed that NO robot parts show underneath the car!



So, what will I do with my second one? Keeping it sealed would be pointless because the packaging is badly damaged. I thought about selling it locally for the price I paid, meaning 41$CAN. As if splitting the bill. But then, I reconsidered and she will be a nice B-Day gift for my Sis's boyfriend, my fellow TF fan and Friend. He's the one I did all those CW customs for.

If you can get yourself the Throne of Chaos, it make Unicron GLORIOUS in planet mode.

Beware that it's extremely rare and expensive.

The Throne is a simple design. Watch the video and see how it's made and it could be remade out of aluminum plates easily. Depending if you have access to tools and materials obviously. Wood would also work pretty well.

@ Kanrabat; for future reference for yourself, to save some G1 headaches, here is a quick tip for joints that are stuck/ sticky.
Mineral oil, or baby oil if unscented mineral oil is not available, in an eyedropper.
It is non corrosive, non reactive and lubricates better than any other modern chemical on the market.
1 or 2 minute drops per application; let it work its way into the joint and GENTLY start working the joint.
After a small amount of time and patience, it should loosen any fixed joint without marring the figure.
I learned my lesson years ago with BW Mutants Soundwave.
Had him MOSC for years until l had to break down my mosc BWs collection for space.
Granted, he has GPS, so I should have known better but 98% of the transformation was done except for the wings.
Gave him a few final, gentle tugs to finish his transformation and the hinge could not handle the minute amount of pressure and snapped.
Now, with any vintage TFs I encounter, if cant flip a hinge/ connection, the mineral oil comes out immediately.
Depending on the spot, i use the eyedropper method for larger hinges and a lightly loaded Qtip for smaller areas.
Works everytime.

My old cat get constipated if I don't give his teaspoon of mineral oil in his food daily. So the stuff that I already have (that I MUST have) can be used to save stuck figures.

That's so, so convenient! All I need now is to go to my drugstore to get an eye-dropper.

Just remember, less is more and just let it work into the joint, and you should be fine.
